Found this prepaid sim deal at whistleout, first month free when porting over to Yomojo, the code is single use but you can supposedly add multiple sims when ordering (I didn't but got another through chat afterwards).
Applies to all plans. Powered by Optus.

https://yomojo.com.au/terms-policy/

Code should be automatically added in Step 2 of sign-up. Alternatively, sign-up on the phone and mention the 1-month free port-in offer.

    • +1

Pretty much the only thing this is good for.

    • Sim what ?

      • +9

        You heard. No shaming.

      • -1

        No judgement here

    • I saw it referred to as being "SIM polyamorous" in another deal.

  • Not sure if this is prepaid - it mentions month to month in the cis

    • From their chatbot it says their mobile plans are prepaid

  • Do they do a Credit check?

Can it be stacked with referral?

    • -2

Can it be stacked with referral?

          Money for nothing?

        • +1

If signing up for the first month free offer simply generate a referral code for an additional $20 which will get you another month free on the cheapest monthly prepaid deal, effectively 2 months free if your a true sim slut.

Use code FINDER if you want a new sim (without porting)

    • +1

      Th3 code FINDER doesn’t work

      • Its on finder website

        • Yeah but on the finder website it states that the code is for first month free on service you port over not just for new services.

    • Back from the ‘box

      • -1

Yeah, was released from the pen today on a good behaviour bond. Was a good holiday

  • Due today: $29.90

    How to avoid paying?

    • +1

Enter promo code JimsSims in step 2 (Service Details) of sign-up.

Look for this just above BACK and NEXT - PAYMENT

Got a promotion code? Enter it here:

    • Apply code at checkout page to drop the price to $0. Note Yomojo only has 4G SIMs (no 5G yet). Cheers.

      • Code works, but it still tries to charge your card for the full amount

  • +1

When choosing new number and enter this code, the balance is also 0, will that work for new number?

  • +1

also work on a new number >??

    • Yeah, seems to work

    • Same question.

  • No esim.

Not sure how long delivery will take for a physical sim card…

  • How many Sim card can I have?

  • +1

*You will receive a verification code via SMS shortly after you sign-up. Please reply with the code to verify that you are the owner of this mobile number 04xxxxxxxx. Take note that the actual transfer will only begin once you activate your SIM card.

When porting, your service needs to be actively able to respond to SMS to avoid talking to customer service.

Date of birth provided to Boost Mobile

When porting they allow provision of different DOB from new account holder's DOB. Interesting. Poor security.

  • the code is single use but you can supposedly add multiple sims when ordering

I tried adding another service, but the code was not accepted. So only one SIM per order.

Sneaky mofos tried to charge $50.90 to my card even though at checkout it said $0.

Lucky I used a burner card with only $1 there and it declined.

After signing up I received this:
    Hi there,
    How are you today?
We have detected that you recently added a new phone service under your account. Can you confirm how many active prepaid mobile services you have?
According to the Telecommunications Act 1997 of Australia, a person is required to provide additional ID when a person is to own or activate more than 4 prepaid mobile services. If you wish to proceed with your SIM card order, please send us 2 primary IDs or 1 primary ID and 2 secondary IDs. You can simple take a photo using your mobile phone and attach it on your reply.
Below are examples of accepted IDs:

    Primary ID
    Australian Driver's Licence
    Australian Passport
Foreign passport with valid entry stamp or visa
    Immicard
    Birth certificate
    Certificate of identity

    Secondary ID
    Bank passbook or bank card
    Medicare card
    Rates notice
    Student ID
    Health care card
    Tenancy agreement
    Seniors card

But if you do not have more than 4 active prepaid mobile services under your name, just let us know.
Kindly include your delivery address as well on your reply.

To proceed with your request, please reply to this email with the following information:
    • Full name
    • Date of birth

I'll wait for your response, thanks!

Junk service. Cancel order and never bother again.

      • Yes, I am not going to activate the service.

    • form to fill out whenever i claimed to have more than 4 active services when buying sim at supermarkets 10 years ago

confused about the point of it if anyone can say no

      • +1

haha I remember those days. That was such a pain in the arse… you'd be standing at the service desk and have 8 people behind you while they filled out the silly form.

  • Good timing. On the catch connect 90 day promo for $20, needed someone to port to as i just got another Catch connect sim from their most recent offer.

  • Signed up with someone's mobile no. thanks all.

  • I signed up almost 3hrs ago, however I have not received any confirmation for it, does any one face the same?

    • It will be in spam, mine was. 3 emails in total

      • I checked in spam, no email from Yomojo.

        • They must have got ozbargained and now verifying them manually

  • Shit they charge me $30.50 even i applied the code and the check said $0. Looks like this is a scam?

    • This is why you always use a burner card with $1 on it to allow for preauthorisation

    • As it is prepaid they are giving you the forst month free but you are paying for the second month up front. As someone said you need a $1 burner card.

    Good morning,

The promo code JIMSSIMS was meant for porting customers only, however if you applied for a new number on the 25th of September please reach out to our team and they will honour any free month for a new number.

We have also extended the number of services you can port and get the free month promo to five under one order.

    Regards,

    Yomojo

    • Hello friend….can this offer still be used to buy a new number…..please let me know? Thanks and regards

  • Yes, I signed up with porting in my existing mobile no, however I have not received the confirmation.

  • Sorry, we don't recognise that promotion code

  • So are people being charged the first month fee on their card even though the offer states the first month is free (so in effect you are locked in for 2 months, the first being a free month)?

  • +2

If you use the code for a port you will not be charged, there was an error with the code accepting new orders which was fixed, and those that were charged we should have reached out to contact them and given them a free month.

There is no obligation to stay, take advantage of the offer :)

Lol looks like they stuffed up my port and added someone elses number to be ported on my account as per email recieved. It might be Jims Sim lol

    • For frequent number porting, the Telco that may easily stuff up or add extra steps to your process should be blacklisted, e.g. Lyca, Lebara. Any hiccup makes it not worth the effort to save a few bucks.

  • A bit annoying they force an activation date on you, was hoping I would be able to activate on a date of my own choosing.

    • Give the team a call/email, we can change this for you.

      • Thanks! I was able to change it myself by logging into the website.
