Any bargains? 5% isn't much for Aus number one bargain website.

    5% 🥱

  • Its sad most of the esspresso machine on sale in Australia is typically controled by one distributor pricing so they really have no flexibility.

The only time I have seen an espresso machine go on sale recently was Lelit which was recently acquired by Breville and even that the 20% was an error.

Usually end up buying stuff from ECS over anything.

What is a decent upgrade to Breville Dual Boiler? I am seriously considering :) Even though I am very happy with it, just want to try a higher tier machine to know what I am missing

    • I think personally lelit bianca is one of the best if not affordable dual boiler with rotary pump.

It is incredibly quiet because of its rotary pump and some do say you do get better water pumpage(?) and the overall experience is quiet luxurious.

      • I don't have any issue with pump, it's does 9bar and maintains temperature. The only issue on BDB is poor performance of steam wand.

        Yes, rotary is an advantage.

        • Can you elabaorate? I think BDB steam wand is perfectly adequate. Sure its not good in a cafe setting if your pushing multiple coffees but it still makes decent enough power to steam perfect milk. you can also increase the steam boiler temp to get a stronger steam pressure if you havent already.

          • @darkkito: I will try that, I don't remember setting the steam temp

The maximum number of cups I make daily is 6 in one go, sufficient for home use. Its steamer is weaker compared to higher-tier machines.

I feel like I maxed out on BDB, I also have the mod for the flow profile. Which is good but I can't tell if it makes a difference.

Without the mode, as time goes on, the flow keeps increasing, as water finds its way out. With the mod, you can slow it down to have more water contact with the puck.

      Nuova Simonelli Musica?
Looks like all features of BDB but rotary pump. :)

A cheaper option is to buy a coffee at a few different coffee shops, their machines are worth thousands.

  • 5%. Seriously 😳

You'll have lines of people out the door. 😱

    • Rep has been online and seen the questions posed to them by everyone but chose to not bother responding. Neg for being lazy in replying and neg for cheaper elsewhere for products mentioned above.

  • i’d love a killer deal on mazzer mini but $1000 is an anything price …

This is an example of how to kill your brand by posting a crapshot promo ad. Fail.
