Back again with a bit of a deal just available for Ozbargain, not advertised anywhere else. The product is hidden from our shop pages and only accessible via the link on this deal. If you have any issues accessing the page, or have questions you don't want to post on this thread, I'm available at [email protected].
I made a bit of a whoopsie on the stock management front, and over ordered on Tanzanian coffee for one of our blends, and whilst the coffee has been excellent and we have enjoyed the heck out of it, I am keen to make room for new coffees coming in towards the end of next month. We were considering selling the green coffee back to the market due to the high market prices at the moment, but before we do I thought maybe an Ozbargain deal might be welcome, as we haven't done one for a bit, and we do occasionally get asked when the next one might be.
About the Coffee:
We purchased this coffee from Utopia Coffee Traders in March 2024, and have featured it as a both a single origin and in our Among Friends blend. The things we like about this coffee are it's presence through milk, and it's caramel notes. It reminds us of rock candy, and there is a small note of water melon when freshly ground, this slight fruity note is not perceivable through milk. If you generally enjoy coffees from: Tanzania (duh), Kenya, Burundi or Uganda, we are confident this coffee will be a welcome treat, and the quality is not reflective of the steep discount which we are glad to share with you. If you prefer a delicate and floral coffee, best give this one a miss.
We roast this coffee to a medium profile, maybe slightly leaning towards medium/dark, depending on your definition. I would personally classify this as a medium/dark roast, as it is designed and roasted for milk coffees / espresso blends.
The DEAL:
PRICE: $19.22 per 1KG (RRP $52 ~63% discount). Espresso Roasted Whole Beans, 1kg
Tanzania Finagro Estate AA Washed
Crop Year: 2023
Tasting Notes: Caramel & Rock Candy are our tasting notes on the label. Largely vibes based. Big body, rich notes cut through milk quite nicely, the caramel notes are the most obvious to us, but there is like a sweet sugary taste throughout that reminds us of candy shops (rock candy).
Stock available: 395 x 1kg (as of 19/09)
Packaging: 1kg Bags, with valve and resealable zipper, with Single Origin Info Label.
Shipping Packaging: Australia post satchel with tissue paper, or mailing box if over 3kg order.

Deal ends on the 1st of October, or whilst stocks last.

FAQ:
Q: Is delayed dispatch available?
Answer: Beyond the roasting and shipping date of the 1st of October, we are leaving that to Lime Blue (and others by now I'm guessing?) as it's a good niche for them, and we are fans of them.
Q: Is this product subject to our guarantee (if you don't like it we will replace it or refund it).
Answer: Yes. This coffee is still in it's prime, and absolutely a specialty grade coffee with a great story to tell, and though we don't have a use for it anymore in our offering, we stand by our roasting 100%.
Q: Is there more information about the coffee?
Answer: Yes, there is more info on the product page.
Q: Is this offer available in conjunction with any other offers?
Answer: No, assuming I've set this up correctly (???), it should not work with any further discounts.
Q: Click and Collect?
Answer: Yes, orders are available for collection from our roastery in Osborne Park, WA Monday - Thursday, 7am - 3pm. We are closed to the public on Fridays.
Q: Can I freeze my coffee?
Answer: Yes freezing is an effective way to slow down ageing of roasted coffee. Keep coffee airtight when freezing. The bag the coffee ships in will suffice, as long as it is not opened.
Thanks again for reading - we hope you find good value in this deal, and we look forward to hearing about your experiences with our coffee.
