250
PLUSNM15PLUSM17

A repeat of the popular 3D printer filament deals from JAYO & SUNLU.

Ships from Regents Park in Sydney, NSW. Works great with all printers, Bambu, Creality, Flashforge etc

JAYO Buy 6, get 4 free
Sunlu Buy 5, get 3 free listings

Material Comments:
  • PLA Meta - great multipurpose filament
  • PLA Matte - hides layer lines more & a nice matte finish. Great for board game inserts.
  • Dual & Triple - nice for for decorative, fidgets & toys
  • Silks - shiny but more brittle
  • PLA Marble - also nice for decorative prints
  • PETG - more impact & UV resistant, can handle higher temps
  • TPU - flexibles
  • PLA Rainbow - slow colour transition. Doesn't change as fast as the thumbnail.
  • PLA Wood - no real grain or wood specks - more a natural pine colour but does have a smell to it.
  • PLA 2.0 - Apparently the updated version of PLA+, seemed pretty similar to me.
Tips
  • Print out adapters for use with AMS Lite. If you go Sunlu, they have a new reusable spool which there are also adapters for online.
  • Use Bambu PLA profile instead of the generic PLA profiles with nerfed volumetric flow rates.
  • Stock up, you never have enough!

Good deal but none of the colours I need have been in-stock since the last deal. Little annoying.

    • what colours?

      check the other store listings

      • +3

The Sakura pink, chocolate colours etc. They are only on Sunlu listings and out of stock on every one. I've been looking since the last deal.

  • nice, just in time could go more marble wh and silk gold.

  • None of those codes work for my checkout of 10 rolls of Jayo filament

Edit: Now the deal is expired… That is a real shame, I was super excited to stock back up on some cheap filament for a moment there. Back to waiting it seems.

    • I think its an ebay issue, should be working again soon

      • Yeah hopefully! I ended up loading up my cart with 20 rolls of filament so that it is hopefully there ready to go for whenever a decent promo pops up.

        • +2

          try now

          • @impoze: Checked out and the discount applied correctly! 20 rolls for $360 isn't too bad. Thanks heaps for posting and keeping me updated!

            • @XVX: nice, what rolls did you get?

              • @impoze: This will be a long one, but I grabbed:
                1x PLA+2.0 Yellow
                1x PLA+2.0 Blue
                1x PLA+2.0 Black
                1x PLA Matte White
                1x Glow-in-dark PLA Red
2x Silk PLA+ Black and Purple (bought a roll of this previously and fell in love with the colour)
1x Silk PLA+ Pink and Gold
                3x Marble PLA
                1x PLA Wood
                3x PETG Black
                2x PETG White
                2x PETG Clear
                1x PETG Red

                • @XVX: ah nice, no wonder it averaged out to around $18 p/kg with a few special types.

I really like the dual & triple silks too

                • @XVX: How do you find the PLA+? Is it worth the extra over regular PLA/

                  • +1

@park it: the pricing is usually not any different, so just go with pla+ or pla 2.0

some of the special colours are only listed in PLA, like marble & wood.

                  • @park it: For some reason, the OP link in this post defaults the item variant to regular PLA in Black, but if you set the colour variant in the listing to 'Select', you will then be able to see in the product dropdown box that all the different filament materials are now available to select and you will see the PLA+ and 2.0 stuff towards the bottom. They are supposed to have higher strength than the standard PLA and the difference in price is pretty small so its a bit of a no-brainer to get those over the regular stuff, unless you are after the fancier PLA like impoze mentioned which are only available in the regular variant.

Probably worth noting too that the wood and marble PLA are considered abrasive, so if you want to use those, you should make sure your extruder and hotend/nozzle are all equipped with hardened steel parts to handle the abrasive materials. I realised this after purchasing and ended up buying hardened hotend and extruder upgrades to install on my P1S so that I could actually use the filaments without wearing out the parts on my printer super fast.

                    • @XVX: I finally did my first print with marble PLA yesterday, looks great.

                      • @impoze: That looks really clean! I love the way that marble PLA looks printed, I am glad I grabbed 3 rolls because I have already done a bit with the 1 roll I opened. Here are a few of the prints I have done so far with it. You can see the wood filament in action on the battery crates there too, which turned out really nice.

                        • @XVX: nice, I wasn't too happy with the wood. I was expecting it to have grain and specks like marble. The woody smell is interesting though.

                          • @impoze: Yeah, it certainly wasn't as 'wood-like' in appearance as I was expecting, but I am still pretty happy with the end result. I need to try it out on a pot plant or vase to see how a large smooth finish looks, I am just always cautious of burning through my rolls too quick as these deals aren't as frequent as I would like.

    Doesn't work

    • +2

I think an issue with eBay as a few of the listings are highlighting the % code

I checked out fine with PLUSNM17 before posting

    • +1

      I think it's working now

  • How do the PLA filaments compare to the PLA+ filaments?

    • I've usually just gone for PLA Meta, PLA+ or PLA 2.0 if it's a regular colour.

Some of the specials are only under PLA e.g. Marble

  • I'm getting $20 postage on the WA Jayo one. Last time I bought from there it was free.

  • Grabbed another 11KGs worth of stuff

  • So fast, got mine delivered today.

In time to print out some helmets over the weekend

  • anyway around the WA $20 postage apart from moving to eastern states?

it says "For those in WA, use these listings:" but not sure what that does, still shows $20 postage

    • Looks like they have changed their listings. If used to be free on those ones

  • for future reference, Jayo & Sunlu matte still has a tiny bit of shine to it compared to Overture which is completely matte.

I had a little bit of overture left over so finished it up and let it continue onto the jayo. Not a big deal but the Overture matte will spoil you.

I'll have to compare to siddament matte.

  • can someone elaborate this further? thank you

"Use Bambu PLA profile instead of the generic PLA profiles with nerfed volumetric flow rates"

    • When you select the filament profile in the bambu studio, dont select generic PLA but use the bambu PLA profile.

The generic flow rate is set to 12m/s compared to 22m/s in the bambu PLA profiles.

Alternatively, do calibrations and tests to determine your own speeds and settings for your filament

      • thank you
