Hey Oz Bargain Community,

On my initial journey into the wonderful world of coffee a number of years ago, my first Pour Over Coffee experience was from a truly wonderful, eye opening, coffee from Bolivia. In that first sip I instantly thought, "if I go down this coffee rabbit hole I hope to one day be able to offer coffee as special as this." At that time little did I know how rare coffee from Bolivia was and so ever since that sip I've been on the look out for a delicious coffee from Bolivia. Last month was only the second time I found Bolivia coffee available (this time in green, unroasted form). I quickly jumped into action, ordered a roasted cupping sample, instantly thought "this is magic, this is wonderful, this brings backs a memory, I need to get it for Lime Bluers" and so I luckily secured every Bolivia bean I could find and now here we go :)

We're offering you a 40% discount off our newly released, super rare and delicious, Bolivia Aurora Organic Single Origin:

1) Bolivia Aurora Organic Single Origin, only $29.70 per 1kg (usually $49.50 per 1kg) and $17.25 per 500g (usually $28.75 per 500g)

Deal valid for orders placed until 24/09/2024, unless sold out before. Dispatch can happen for you as near as Tuesday and as far as the second last Thursday in December (19/12/2024). Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting
  • We're happy to accommodate dispatch date changes, you just need to select a new dispatch date either via clicking the "View Your Order" button in the order confirmation page or simply logging into you Lime Blue Coffee account
  • One dispatch per order
  • If you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"
  • 500g bag packaging (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $4.80 per kg including the discount (normally $8 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be submitted via a reply message to your order confirmation email
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag

FREE SHIPPING for orders over $69 We recommend freezing any excess bags purchased to quality for free shipping, without compromising on enjoying fresh coffee.

Too shelf description LBC, well played…

      • Amazing, thank you so much for your terrific order and fantastic compliment @mtr !!!

Your comment reminds me of our Surprise Mystery Flight coffee, which we hope to bring back in some form in the future. Wrapped to know our description has us in your good books, fingers crossed you love this rare coffee even more :)

      • I was reading it wishing I didn't have coffee in the freezer so that I could buy some of this.

Wish you offered ground option on your sales. Stops me from buying. Not interested in buying a grinder and waking up the household in the morning

    • +2

Hey @Foodstamps appreciate the check in!

Sorry pre-ground is not a viable option at present, if it's simply the noise factor of the grinder then I'm pleased to say there's some terrific innovation going on at the moment and there's some James Bond level stealth grinders available :)

      • -5

Or offer ground options. Would happily pay a few extra dollars for it.

        • +3

I'm the same. Used to regularly buy from Tom when the deals included a ground option. Unfortunately have had to move over to Arji and Inglewood since he stopped doing them even though I think Lime Blue is a touch better :(

          • -1

@ham0718: Ditto. Will buy from others that offer the option. Remember once someone else asked for this month's ago and the seller said they're grinder was broken LOL

    • +7

The world is your oyster my friend. Plenty of quieter electric grinders…hand grinders…can always grind what you need during 'wake' hours yourself. Will always be fresher then, than buying ground and it being shipped.

      Wishing you a lovely day : )

      • -2

Some people just don't want more stuff to do, more equipment around the house. Sorry for having an opinion. Enjoy your fresh grind and don't have a good day, have a great day ❤️

        • +1

Pretty lame attempt at sarcasm. Not even sure why you're bothering with freshly roasted single origin beans if you're just wanting them pre-ground and then poured into a bag where they'll sit for weeks.

May as well get pre-ground supermarket coffee.

(I salt my coffee with the tears that come with using a simple hand grinder.)

    • Hand grinders are pretty cheap and quiet and your coffee will taste a whole lot better.

      • -7

After much reflection I've decided that I can't possibly continue living a life of shame and I must immediately grind beans directly before consumption to enjoy the unworldly freshness of freshly ground coffee. Alas, my grinder budget is exactly $0 so I will ozbargain it using 2 terracotta pavers. I hypothesis that the terracotta infused freshness will elevate my coffee experience to new dizzying heights.

Also, lime coffee start offering pre ground options on your sales thanks

        • +1

You've asked for ground and it was politely declined with an explanation as to why.

A reasonable person would move on and buy elsewhere rather than carrying on over and over and over again.

"Ohhh, I'm exhausted. I've been on this street a thousand times. It's never looked so strange. The faces…so cold. In the distance, a child is crying. Fatherless…a bastard child, perhaps. My back aches…my heart aches…but my feet…my feet are resilient! Thank God I drank some Bolivian Aurora single origin coffee, took off my heels, and put on my… HIMALAYAN WALKING SHOES!!!".

    • This sounds like it has the making's of a Hollywood box office hit, you've got the first scene sorted, now you just need to work of the rest of the movie!

Thanks for sharing, I'll be first in line to buy a ticket when it hits the cinema :)

        Seinfeld.

        • Must have missed that episode, now on my to watch list :)

  • Never ordered from them, how do they compare to Inglewood (normally I get the Sunset Blvd blend)?

    • +3

They're a small coffee roastery, but compared to Inglewood I'd say they're a bit more "specialty". Inglewood focuses a lot on their blends, whereas Lime Blue is much more about their single origins. They do blends of course (I have tried one or two) but I'd recommend trying their single origin.

    • I did a few figurative laps of the various coffee sellers that posted deals on ozb, including airjo and Inglewood. I've ended up sticking with Lime Blue. Not every one of their fancy beans they get has been to my tastes, but the majority have been great, and my favourite (Brazil) often comes back around on sale.

  • Great blurb - when will you get more PNG covfefe in stock?

    • +1

Terrific to know the description has caught your attention!

I'm sure we'll be more of the PNG, just not quite sure when yet, but when we do we'll let everyone know via our email newsletter :)

    Hi Tom,

I just wanted to say how much I’ve been enjoying your coffee lately—it’s consistently great! I’ve always been curious about the roasting process, especially when it comes to achieving the unique flavors you’ve got. Do you roast the beans in-house? If so, I’d love to learn more about your setup and techniques. If possible, could you even share some photos of the roasting equipment? I think it’d be really cool to see behind the scenes!

    Thanks so much!

Morning @xjoel WOW thank you so much for such a thoughtfully worded compliment, it does mean a lot and I'm wrapped to know how much you've been enjoying our variety of options!

If I take a photo I know it'll be blurry before I even click the button haha However, along with working on my happy snap skills, I'll do you one better…if you're in VIC you can see Lime Blue Coffee in action down the track. Now things are slightly hectic at present, so we can't do any tours right now, but hopefully later this year we'll be able to give you and other Lime Bluers a peak behind our Wizard of Oz curtain :)

  • I drink mostly pour over and your story convinced me to buy 3kg for free shipping. Will store some in the freezer. Thanks for the deal!

    • Terrific, thank you so much for such a fantastic order, it's truly appreciated!!!

Wrapped to know my story caught your attention. Love your freezing skills and I've got my fingers crossed you love this super special coffee from Bolivia :)

  • I fell in love with Bolivia in the computer game Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands. It's set in Bolivia which they have lovingly recreated, complete with faithful geography (including some coffee fields) and wonderful culture. The civilian population in the game is just going about their business in the streets, hanging out together playing music, looking after their homes and farms, some wearing traditional clothing, and they'll be chatting as you pass. Of course, the storyline of the game is that a drug cartel has taken over the government and you are moving around fighting them, but when you're not blowing things up it's quite beautiful. I'm serious. Now for another coffee.

    • +1

Sounds like quite the digital adventure, it can be quite special when beauty can break through chaos!!!

Fingers crossed this coffee brings back the memories of beautiful scenery and not the chaos, thank you so much for the story and what I assume is an order to follow :)

  • +4

Any option to pick up in VIC? I am sure some will opt to pick up to save postage.

    • +1

organise group buy if you're in South East

    • For sure. Would love to try smaller amounts of these unique coffees but the shipping puts me off so usually wait until I need a couple of kilos to make it worthwhile. Would definitely drive to pickup!

I missed out on the most recent decaf sale. Will there be another sale soon? @LimeBlueCoffee

    • Hey @htrans never hurts to check!

The deal of tomorrow is promised to no one, as we tend to focus on one deal at a time I honestly don't know when our decaf will next be featured in a deal. Perhaps you could order a small bag at regular price to tie you over, if you're at risk of running out of the good stuff :)

  • Instant buy when I woke up and checked my email. Don't let it be sold out, I thought. That will make four straight buys in a row from Tom. Proud to be a Lime Bluer. You should get some stickers made up from Stickermule when they do cheap runs.

  • thanks never tried your coffee before, this is a good deal especially for Organic AND single origin! Ordered.

    • Amazing, thank you so much for giving us a shot, it's truly appreciated and an opportunity I promise we won't take for granted :)

  • That's coffee beans sorted for the rest of 2024 with my previous October dispatch order and now a December dispatch order! #SOLife

    • Love your planning heads skills, ensuring you don't have to worry about running out of the good stuff!!!

Thank you so much for another terrific order, your continued support is sincerely appreciated :)

  • $34.50 not $29.70 now

    • Hey @g110gbg price hasn't changed, I believe you have 1kg in 500gs bags selected AKA 2x500g bags. Simply change the packaging to a 1kg bag AKA 1x1kg and you'll see an instant price change :)

  • Hello, I'm strongly considering placing an order for the rest of the year, I'm just wondering if the coffee is certified organic (if so, which?) or just organic practices? Thanks! Look forward to ordering bulk coffee

    • +1

Hey @Bencrawf3 love the sound of those planning ahead skills!!!

I can confirm this wonderful coffee is Certified Organic. Control Union Certifications B.V. was the inspection and issuing body :)

      • Just like that I've ordered 4kg, now I'll order another 8kg for subsequent months.
Thanks very much, I appreciate those who make the effort to grow things properly & certify their trade. Can't wait :)

        • WOW that's absolutely amazing to hear, thank you so much for your wonderful orders and engagement here, both sincerely means so much to us!

I'm wrapped to know we're in your good books and promise we'll keep working hard to stay there :)

  • Well this sounds damn delicious, count me in. Thanks again for this special coffee Tom!

    • WOOHOO absolute music to my ears!!!

Thank you so much for another terrific order and that fantastic vote of confidence :)

  • I missed that deal (mainly because I still have some stock in the freezer), but I would really really welcome more ORGANIC blends/SO options from you.
Would be great if you can make this more easily available.

    Many thanks

  • +1

This deal still seems to be active for those who missed out originally.

  • Are these medium or darker roasts? I noticed some of your beans say medium omni roast and others say just omni roast, is the just omni roast meaning darker or lighter than medium 😆
