Method
STEP 1
Pulse all the ingredients along with a handful of ice in a blender until smooth.

    There's drinks to enjoy, and there's drinks to tolerate because they make other things more enjoyable. $31 scotch for the latter is pretty good IMO.

    Have only had the Aerstone land cask, it's not the best smoky type of whisky out there. It could be a good mixer; I drink neat and the enjoyment is less than JW black / HP12, and a lot less than Laphroaig and Ardbeg just FYI

    That said I consider $50 a good price for this one, $41.3 is a buy from me

      i disagree, the Aerstone Land is excellent value for money. it's no Laphroaig or Ardbeg ,etc but it's fairly smooth and decent smokiness.

        All good, to me the smoke tastes chemical and disintegrated, it's just a whisky that's unpleasant to sip neat. Though I don't like Lagavulin much either so it could be just not my type

          yeah it's all personal. I can only drink scotch neat, I can't imagine mixing a smokey scotch.

          under $50 both Aerstone's are a steal. the sea one is very smooth, not heaps of flavour, but that means two not three cubes of ice.

            @M00Cow: Hmm…I'm a big fan of Talisker because of the distinctive hint of sea saltiness with their single malts. Is the Sea Cask even close to comparable?

        Cant buy any whiskey, only vodka. If i add whiskey to cart it processes payment then just goes back to the previous screen. Have tried delivery, express delivery and pickup with no success and multiple credit cards :-(

          Weird. Sorry can't help with that. I paid with paypal, c&c.

          I didn't get a delivery option at all. Did you check local stock numbers? When I was browsing I added all the save30 gins and initially couldn't get to my cart at all, or go to checkout, because one or two of the products weren't available locally. Whoever set up their cart obviously didn't test all the possibilities.

          Previous experiences with LL delivery suggest it's regularly a rabble. Twice sent wrong products from their warehouse even after I sent a message telling them NOT to send the wrong pack on the second occasion; couldn't organise a replacement delivery from a local store (which had stock) when part of a Xmas order was missing - "has to come from the warehouse". Won't use LL delivery again after those 3 bad experiences. Their reviews pretty much tell you to hope for the best and expect the worst.

          Don't know if this rejig is aimed at fixing LL problems or if Coles liquor management is oblivious : https://thenightly.com.au/business/coles-to-fold-vintage-cel… Ironically I've never had a problem with FCL delivery or pickup.

            @Igaf: I placed an order a few hours ago without any issue.
            I thought about stocking up and tried to place another order but it didn't work. I tried both PayPal and CC as well but no success.
            PayPal just refresh the screen and removed the promo code.
            CC removed the code and showed "no longer valid" message.

    Bloody bargain the vodka for 31.. got 3 bottles thanks mate. Only shit thing is it "isnt in stock for delivery" despite being in stock for click and collect at the store down the road.

    Great price on the Dead Mans Fingers Tequila. Gorgeous drop. Finished in Bourbon casks for a lovely finish.
