What Are The Best 75" 4k TV around $2,500

Hi all, what are the best 75" 4k TV in your view. Please share your experience, suggestions. Budget is little more or less around $2500.

What do you think is it good to buy now or around November when there might be better deals, along with using gift cards like TCN, Ultimate gift Card or 10%-15% off eftpos gift card from Coles or Woolworths. What do you think of Hisense and TCL brands, it seems they are usually priced lower for better specs compared to LG, Samsung, Sony which would be few hundred dollar more for similar specs if you get LG, Samsung, Sony.

What do you think of these below:

TCL 75C855

Hisense 75U8NAU

LG 75QNED91TSA

Please also suggest if you have more suggestion around the budget $2500. The LG might be over Budget but still kept it in case if the price goes lower, leaning more towards TCL or Hisense as these two offer more specs for the price. Thank you so much guys.

    Sony from Costco.

    • Is it easy to return TV back to costco? the other thing is costco does not price match if we see lower price for the Tv or other products somewhere else. Thank you for the suggestion.

      • I can't say about TVs specifically but Costco have a very good return policy.

TCL and Hisense have 3 year warranties… mainstream tvs have a crappy 1 year guarantee. Some folks bang on about australian consumer protection of "reasonable lifespan"… but that doesn't help a lot if there's resistance by the retailer/ manufacturer.

I've bought big arsed TCL tvs for a number of years, for a number of locations. I've been satisfied with cheap big TCLs.

    • Yes i also think TCL, Hisense offer more specs on lower prices if same specs where to be bought from LG, Samsung, Sony it would be couple hundred dollar more. As a customer you will always want to buy value for money, with reliable product, TCL, Hisense seems to have these both. LG, Samsung, Sony are reliable as well but you need to pay couple hundred more.

  • What to look out for when buying TV? Do we need to look at power consumption ratings as well? Went to JB on weekend to quickly have a look at the quality, will go again in the weekend a bit more thorough. I saw power consumption sticker on the TCL C855 which was i think have the power consumption rating about 3.5 stars out of 6 or 7 stars. What do you guys think of power consumption ratings or does it only accounts of overall little more increased electricity bill (like merely a few dollar increase on the electricity bill) Thank you.

    • Most of the power consumption specs are at a certain % of brightness - only useful if comparing very similar TV's as a C855 would be 4x as bright as an OLED

    • Well i am more bending towards C855 offering more as per price, value for money. Wanted to know what other people opinions are and if they also think c855 is better than others on the list in terms of offerings and value for money or if they have any other suggestions, eyes for different model around same price range. So far C855 on the lead. Thank you everyone.

You can always advice, share your opinion and what you think about it. Thank you carimakan.

  • Following this thread with interest. But am also exploring 85" screen size in addition to 75" ones.

Are the 85" versions of the above models just as good (or better) than the 75" ones?

TCL and Hisense seems to offer more in terms of spec if you compare the pricing, value for money. I posted this topic to know what people think of these TVs or if they have any other TVs in their eyes which is around the budget i mentioned. I think it is also best to visit the store personally, see it for yourself, which i will be doing, along with asking more information from the sales persons. I appreciate each and everyone advice, suggestions, experience. Thank you everyone!

      • thanks bro.

Define best? Objective performance and accuracy determined by ISF industry standards and their measurements should be the first thing you ask and want… Then you take into account your own subjective views and wants.

  • I can't imagine spending that much money on non-OLED but that's just me
