What're the benefits of all wood? I personally prefer strong wire/plastic ones because they take up slightly less space and are lighter for my shoddy clothes rack that looks like it's going to collapse at the centre
Its not so much that wood is better, it's more that wooden hangers tend to be thicker, stronger and flare out towards the shoulders than the wire and plastic ones. Generally, the more surface area of the hanger, the less damage you're gonna do to your clothing over time.
The thin wire ones are the devil - they will put all of the weight/force of a clothing item's weight onto a tiny contact area over the shoulders and collar which will cause stretching and dimpling that can't be fixed. Thicker plastic is better but wood is king.
I have lost many a t-shirt (particularly heavier weight ones) to stretched collars and hanger bumps from leaving them on wire hangers. I have since replaced all my hangers with wooden ones.

Target stock on Catch has sold out
I just got Qty 12 for $10 with free Onepass delivery, Qty 16 is showing as $21.84 to me
Here's the link for $10 12-pack for others: https://m.catch.com.au/product/wooden-hangers-12-pack-anko-2…
but the hooks are still pokey eye out
The cheapest option is to just use the plastic ones with the foam sleeves. I think they just came with the clothes items when purchased, so I don't know if you can buy them separately.
Showing as back in stock!
I got rid of all our plastic and wire hangers a while ago and replaced them with wooden ones. Heavy items will end up breaking these though.
