I know free shipping applies to orders over $59, but for items below that amount, I remember adding a returnable filler item to reach the threshold, then returning the filler and keeping the item I wanted.

Thats wasting a lot of resources just to get free shipping. How about saving until you get enough items youll actually use instead? Do you realise that return items are often just sent to landfill and are rarely actually put back into stock?

Why not just create another new account for Amazon Prime free trial? It's easy.
