Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro $139, Buds2 $119 in-Store @ Officeworks

660

Samsung headphone buds are on clearance at officeworks.

Buds pro 2 are $139 (currently $349 @JBHF or $149 @ Big W) not $169 as pictured
Buds 2 are $119 (currently $249 @JBHF)

Expect mostly the off colours ie olive or lavender, probably no white, only a few charcoal ones.

I actually got them to price match some dodgy site that has them for $125 (so $119 after the 5% PM discount).

But they mistakenly put in the price as $80, so i got even more money off! Good luck getting this price again.

Can't find any other colour links

  • Are these inear or normal?

I don't like the in ear ones

Cex isn't dodgy, they just sell 2nd hand stuff, think of them as a international version of cash converters (I worked for them in the UK) but they mainly buy games, media, technology-related products.

Dodgey site CEX? Do you even Ozbargain?

CEX is great haha, I dump all my unsold electrical stock there. They usually pay around the cost price.

  • Wish my local store had stock

Can you post the invoice for $80? I'll give it a crack.

Product code. Just bought one (purple) pro

  • I can't find the bud 2 pro at that price in the officeworks site.

    • Use the link from spackbase and use the psgbdpr2gy

  • Work with iPhone?

Nah only Airpods work with iPhones 🙄

    • They're Bluetooth earbuds, yeah, they'll work.

Can't fiddle with the settings though because there's no Galaxy Buds/Wearables app for iOS. Just like how it is with AirPods on Android.

  • Thanks OP, I bought a white pair of Galaxy Buds2 Pro because I read the graphite colour has a rubber coating that eventually degrades and becomes sticky (maybe that'll help with grip though). I tried my luck with price beating CEX at two stores but they both said no because the CEX didnt display product code or something.

  • Amazing deal. They are super comfy and sound quality is insane when paired with a samsung phone.

    • tbh I didn't really notice that big of a improvement in sound quality going from a POCO to a Samsung

Sound quality has also been borked by Samsung in recent(ish) updates making the tuning kinda wack

  • None on the shelves at glen waverley but they found some "in the back" when i provided product code.

  • Got it for 139 thanks. I tried to price beat with that link and they didn't fall for it. Spewing. Still a great buy.

  • Ooooh $20 cheaper than I got it last week. Nice! Def go the Pro version.

Enjoy - they are amazing earphones. I've never had an expensive pair before. Would recommend.

Nice, cheaper than what I got those for last week. Very happy with the comfort, audio quality and ANC so far. Personally I find the battery life to be very unimpressive, only 5 hours with ANC enabled. The touch controls are also pretty annoying, they always ended up being triggered when I try to adjust the earbuds, may end up disabling those at some point if they annoy me too much. For people who use these with their computers, I found an open source project that lets you check battery info and change settings, works on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android: https://github.com/timschneeb/GalaxyBudsClient
