Samsung headphone buds are on clearance at officeworks.

Buds pro 2 are $139 (currently $349 @JBHF or $149 @ Big W) not $169 as pictured
Buds 2 are $119 (currently $249 @JBHF)

Expect mostly the off colours ie olive or lavender, probably no white, only a few charcoal ones.

I actually got them to price match some dodgy site that has them for $125 (so $119 after the 5% PM discount).

    Cex isn't dodgy, they just sell 2nd hand stuff, think of them as a international version of cash converters (I worked for them in the UK) but they mainly buy games, media, technology-related products.

      They're Bluetooth earbuds, yeah, they'll work.

      Can't fiddle with the settings though because there's no Galaxy Buds/Wearables app for iOS. Just like how it is with AirPods on Android.

    Thanks OP, I bought a white pair of Galaxy Buds2 Pro because I read the graphite colour has a rubber coating that eventually degrades and becomes sticky (maybe that'll help with grip though). I tried my luck with price beating CEX at two stores but they both said no because the CEX didnt display product code or something.

      Have had the Buds2 pro in graphite since launch (almost 2 years now), heavy usage on multiple devices, dropped the case many times and the buds, usually on tiles but sometimes on concrete/asphalt, used in water, etc etc

      Read many revues about the the coating but have not experienced it even through all the drops, not even a scratch on them, even the writing on the bottom of the case, which was never really legible anyway, it still legible.

      I had the Buds3 pro on pre-order but decided to keep them as the are still more than sufficient for my usage, i even still have the first gen buds pro and they still work well,

      So in generally:
      - Buds2 pro is great
      - graphite is fine, i have not personally experienced the "wear and tear" issues that many reviews mentioned

        Thanks for your thoughts. I suspect some of it may be due to people disinfecting their earbuds with sanitizer/isopropyl alcohol, especially during covid. Or maybe they kept them in hot places, like a car or tight pants pocket all day. That's been known to quickly make it degrade.

      tbh I didn't really notice that big of a improvement in sound quality going from a POCO to a Samsung

      Sound quality has also been borked by Samsung in recent(ish) updates making the tuning kinda wack

    Nice, cheaper than what I got those for last week. Very happy with the comfort, audio quality and ANC so far. Personally I find the battery life to be very unimpressive, only 5 hours with ANC enabled. The touch controls are also pretty annoying, they always ended up being triggered when I try to adjust the earbuds, may end up disabling those at some point if they annoy me too much. For people who use these with their computers, I found an open source project that lets you check battery info and change settings, works on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android: https://github.com/timschneeb/GalaxyBudsClient

      I had just normal buds 2 and didn't like comply tips with them. Just made them mid-centric. I think the harman tuning on these are pretty good.

    Buds 2 pro wireless distance is subpar from the buds pro. It distorts after around 10m between walls where as buds pro went through 20-30M through walls. I also get the occasional crackle when connected to my samaung tv. I cant replicate it so hard to fix under warranty. Battery life also average - 5 hours roughly with ANC.

    I just visited my local JB Hi-Fi, and they are only matching the prices displayed on the Officeworks website, even though the Officeworks store 100 meters away is selling the item for $139 in-store. They also won't match the price shown on a paper receipt!

      You can buy from OW then take the receipt to JB and see if they match the receipt.

        I tried, but they told me a paper receipt is considered past pricing. They’ll only match what’s on the website at the time you’re talking to them. I guess it depends on which staff member you deal with—no luck for me today.
