Lenovo Media Laptop. Need Power to Comfortably Handle Full Video Editing with Movavi and Other Similar Applications

Just thinking of striking given the 15% top cashback today

Keen to get some advice if anyone can assist on their range ?

I need a better laptop than my current to edit videos with movavi and use adobe photoshop etc, currently its stuttering and freezing alot trying to do the work

I need fast and no freezing or lagging, a machine that will handle the work with no issue

Current laptop is the ideapad 5 141TL05

    Cheaper than buying direct from Lenovo.

    For content creation (long video encoding and render jobs) can't beat a desktop CPU though. As powerful as the Core i7-13620H is, it is still thermally limited (not enough thermal headroom in a laptop) and won't clock anywhere close to 4.9ghz consistently.

    consider just buying a $1k Ryzen 7500 / RTX 4060 desktop and have way more options with hardware down the track (AM5 supported until 2027)

      If I am googling correctly, your existing laptop is 11th gen i5 with 16gb, so I think I agree with Scrimshaw - the boost in CPU in a new laptop isn't going to be huge.
