Bose Soundlink Mini II Bluetooth Speaker Luxe Silver for $99.99 Delivered @ Costco Online (Membership Required)

560

Essentially this deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/858087) but now $5 more.

One of my favourite portable bluetooth speakers, great bang for buck, especially at this price, with overall good sound clarity and decent bass for its size.

My micro USB version from about 7 years ago is still going strong, would highly recommend.

Geesus review on bose website are terrible.
    Pass

  • I had one of these but broke as it could not be charged. mind you I had it fairly infrequent use for about 6 years. excellent sound for such a little device

It will charge with a slow charger, use a 5w charger and it will work again

      • I'm not sure if it's an issue with the battery, when plugged in the indicator light is still on but loses power within minutes

      • Mine died completely. Got a new battery but still no good.

    • I had the same issue. Solid red light on charge.

Was repaired once then it happened again.

There are steps you can try such as putting it into "shipping mode". It is a firmware issue related to the battery.

I thought mine was dead but ran the Bose updater on it and it is now fixed and has been charging well for 18 months. Great speaker.

My micro USB version from about 10 years ago is also going strong!!!

Except sometimes it doesn't charge properly :/

    • So its going ok?

      • All ok

      • Yes it functions very well, close to a brand new device actually. Maybe 40% of the time the micro usb cable doesn’t charge properly at first attempt so I just need to try my luck. But luckily I dont use it heavily /battery is still strong / it’s not a critical issue to me.

The Logitech is on sale for $99 semi regularly and sounds significantly better.

      Which model?

I still use my 2013 DC-charging version! Admittedly I keep it on the dock because the battery doesn't last long.

It sounds better than any similarly sized speaker I've bought since. You sit it in a corner or in front of a hard surface and it sounds incredibly deep.

Too much bass, no mid range / treble. Prefer jbl.
    Ok price for old tech

    • yes. i love this speaker and use it daily, but its not that good for spoken word, and music thats not bass heavy. It doesn't connect with a bose app, so can't adjust the equaliser aso
