The Patagonia Quandary Men's Pant are light and technical, movement-oriented pants, made of a strong, lightweight and quick-drying 95% nylon (65% recycled)/5% spandex fabric with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to resist moisture. The curved waistband follows the contours of your hips for a personalised fit, while a gusseted crotch allows a full range of motion. They feature front handwarmer pockets (the right with a coin pocket), two rear pockets and a right-thigh pocket with a security zipper so you know exactly where you put your keys. Details include wide, reinforced belt loops, zip fly with metal web-button closure and 40+ UPF sun protection.

thank you! got the last 2 of the quandry pants in size 34

  • FYI, "spandex" is the American name for what Australians call Lycra. Has Paddy been taken over by Yanks?

    • Yes

    • MAMMIS doesn’t have the same ring to it too.

Yeah I’ve noticed people using much more American language since I was young in the 90s. People use “Store” instead of “shop” etc. We should be aware of the differences. I think a lot of cultures are having the same issue.

      • hearing 'nooo-s' instead of 'nuu-ews' grinds my gears. It's all lost now.

      • "First responder" is one that really bugs me. For all my life growing up they were always "emergency services" - now because we're trying to replicate the Americans, it's suddenly "first responders".

These are fantastic bags, carry-on approved and whilst I one the duffle/no wheels on some trips - there's plenty of trips I take when wheels make travel much easier

    • +2

If it had add on shoulder straps I would consider.

      • That's what the duffle is for, but I get your dual purpose goal… Not many rollers have straps too

seems a bit heavy at 3.18kg? leaves only 3.8kg for carry on.

Will I be able to claim GST on clothes while travelling internationally? It's easily crossing 300+ with Patagonia items 😀

    • +1

Of course, just make sure you have them for inspection

      • So I can wear them as well right ? Or should it be in a bag untagged ?

    • What about underwear
