For Info I initally had a combo wide/spot light bar on my car, and found it worse for highway driving as it put too much light into the near field, and not much down the road. This made it harder to see down the road because of all the near field light the when at highway speeds. I have since put on a more "spotlight" (ie narrow beam) on the car and it defintiely makes night driving better.

    • Yeah the light bars are great for off roading but pretty terrible for on road driving I have found.

      • You get what you pay for. The "Stedi" pro ones (Aus business) absolutely nail the balance. I giggle the first time I flicked mine on, and I had the smallest one they make.

Just tried to get this and you need to be an e-bay plus member. You should note that in the description/title.

I have never tried this particular light but I get the feeling that the distance claims are going to be somewhat exaggerated. Hopefully I’m wrong.

Chinese meters…. reality probably AU 25mtrs

    • Bought from this store before and Exaggerated is pretty polite for the abysmal light they provide (you are going to get more light from aged/faded headlights)

  • Tried buying it first time and says it's all gone, then noticed it kept selling so went back again and it went through. Weird.

  • no indication these come with wiring of any sort.

    USA Youtube review

The video has it mounted angled towards the sides of a pickup in USA. Hope this helps others.

    • Unless that fella is running really yellow headlight bulbs which has screwed up the white balance the hot spot of those light fox lights look a lot bluer than 5500k.

Don't need them. Bought them anyway…

Yeah, I'm thinking they'll make kick-ass cabinet lights!

Think they'll go great as hallway night lights

      Use as reversing lights..

  • I highly recommend putting on some lightbars light this!

"But I don't drive in rural areas".

Yeah, but I had my headlights stop working between Sydney and Queensland. Luckily, I had put on a small lightbar on my number plate. I wrapped a white Coles plastic bag around the LED to diffuse the light, and it got me home safely. I also recommend carrying a box of different sized fuses and a bulb in the car (though neither of those were the issue, those would be the first things you'd check).

As far as this purchase, it took a couple of attempts before going through.

I am getting this error "Unfortunately, this code no longer works. Please continue with your order."

  • The old six volt Beetle would have more output than these, and they were pathetic.
