      I don't know about the current situation, but Surfshark Mel/Syd servers were largely unusable last year due to excess traffic and use by malicious actors causing Surfshark IP addresses to be heavily blocked.

    WIsh Surfshark gets a 100% promo. I couldnt get Nords OpenVPN to work with my router.

      Surfshark offers 100% promo around twice each year: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/surfshark . But if you don't mind the 98%-99% promos, they seem to come every month or two.

      Also, try WireGuard instead of OpenVPN. It's faster and more lightweight.

        my only issue with WireGuard is that it requires software to be installed on endpoints (like pc, smartphone etc). I want something on a router level where i flick the switch and all devices to through the vpn sorta situation.

    Paid $123.56 AUD (83.43 USD?) and cashback tracked an hour later at $119.37 AUD (83.43 USD). Difference $4.19 AUD :(

        NordVPN automatically converted and charged me $123.56 AUD and showed this in their receipt, so the card does not matter.

        Perhaps it may be better to choose US as location depending on your card.

          seems like they charged you the correct current exchange rate according to xe
          so maybe cashrewards just went with a different exchange rate

        Yeah I bought it, cashreward 100% minus the tax of approximately $15. I wonder what’s the point of this kind of marketing strategy via cashreward. They could have run this promo 90-95% off for 2 years on their website and still would have made more money imo.

      Paid $135.92, got CR tracking email for $120.16. I am guessing the gap is GST + exchange rate difference.
