@[Deactivated]: How about you stop trying to tell me how to enjoy the music I own? It's a 10 year old $40 blaupunkt soundbar from Aldi and when I turn it up loud enough to enjoy, the speakers crackle and sound like electric yogurt, but the music is that good it doesn't matter.
@Mums Poop Sock: I didn’t tell you how to enjoy the music you own, keep listening to your crackling electric yogurt to your hearts content. If you enjoy the sound from a tiny inferior rubbish soundbar, whether it’s the very best soundbar available or your cheap $40 soundbar from Aldi that you have mentioned you own, good luck to you, however with this limitation you’re unable to make a quality evaluation regarding the audio mixes of content.
@[Deactivated]: My quality evaluation was right there in my opening comment
@Mums Poop Sock: It’s about as quality as your mum’s poop in socks.
Techmoan did a review of this one, he's a reliable source
Nice to see another Techmoan fan. He's the one who made me want to get a Sony TC-D5, though I've yet to see one at a reasonable price both here (FB Marketplace) and internationally..
There's a bit of vinyl hating going on here. Yes, the practicalities of it lose to digital. It sounds different. I love the collecting aspect of it, and vinyl forces me to sit and listen exactly because of its impracticalities - it turns listening into an experience. If it's not for you, that's okay - that just means it's not competing on levels that matter to you. No need to yuck other's yums - I doubt you're converting anyone.
Yeah I really don't understand the hate here. It's a good deal on something you don't want? Just ignore the deal and move on.
Some people here genuinely seem like very unpleasant people to be around. It’s the same people that crowd a ‘8gb MacBook’ deal with their opinions, they spend more energy on deals that don’t interest them than posting actual deals themselves.
No need to yuck other's yums
I'm going to steal this.
No need to yuck other's yums - I doubt you're converting anyone.
People lose their minds when plant based alternatives are posted, I think yucking others' yums is OzBargain tradition at this point. :P
Yeah nah
this will be a sweet way to listen to my expensive vinyl collection on my cheap bluetooth earbuds while walking my dog for that warm vinyl sound whilst on the go…thanks OP
The only 'warm' feeling you're gonna get is from sniffing your/your dogs farts.💨
“Ooh vinyl frisbee!” - my German Shepherd
I was mortified when I caught him starting to chew on the corner of one of my unopened LPs several months back.
I’ll use this with my Bluetooth speaker on public transport
Better to buy a Project Essential at least just to start.
Note that most Bluetooth enabled Vinyl turntables means it can use Bluetooth to transmit to speakers or headphones.
So don’t expect to use it to receive Bluetooth audio from a phone.
Why would anyone think it does that though..
Awesome deal, thanks for sharing OP!
Upvoted for the mental image of someone using it in a gym :)
I have a fairly cheap AT-LP90 player. Can anyone advice me if this is technically better in any way? (seeking excuse to buy haha)
Good post OP. Got one and used the $30 off perks. Thanks.
Will inbox my white one this evening. Cheers OP 👍
I like the name SoundBurger
I really hope AT applied their usual standards to this (I really hope they did, as I have a headset and mic from the which are fantastic), instead of peddling a cheapo Chinese mechanism (a.k.a. all the "modern" walkman players). See Techmoan videos for random reviews.
hey guys my wife missed the sale (it was supposed to be my fathers day present). Anyone here bought one but not interested in keeping it? I'm Sydney and I buy cash if anyone is interested. DM me!
PS: mods delete my post if this message is not appropriate
If anyone is regretting their purchase and wishes to sell, I'm interested in buying (Melbourne). DM pls

Explain? What’s holy gatekeeping Batman about it? Are you actually saying the soundbars aren’t inferior cheap products and that they provide great quality objectively comparably on par or close to separate audio components setups?
