      Doing the lord's work JV.

    • But it was $269.95…

    • +1

I don't entirely disagree, matter of perspective. The shoes were $269.95, but the pair was.

      • +7

The shoes were $269.95 and the price was $269.95. Both are correct.

        • Yes

          • -1

@ZestyLewis: No mention of the word 'price' either, the only subject in the title is 'boots'…

      • +4

The noun in the sentence is 'Boots', and not 'pair'…

jv, you've done it again πŸ‘ 🧐

        • We have a winner! Well played jv. Thanks for the schooling πŸ₯³πŸ˜Ž

These look great but they are so uncomfortable…

    • +5

Absolutely right. Feet ache, annoying to put on and they are incredibly heavy. Can barely drive a car in them.

      • +2

        gotta suffer for fashion sometimes

        • At least they are warm

        • At least they don't have a 6-inch heel too πŸ‘

        • +2

Timberlands are not worthy the sacrifice if you’re over 22

    • might need some burn in. mine was scratching my feet and hurt like hell for the first few weeks. it was fine afterwards.

    • Took about 2 months to break mine in
      The stock insoles are sh1te
Replace them with something with arch support and theyre more comfortable than my RM's

Picked up a set for $79 5 years ago off ozbargain, have been going great

Go Blue Steel boots, look similar but comfy from day one.

      • Blue steel are steel caps and not really for everyday casual wear.

Dont get me wrong though, theyre great boots and incredibly comfortable, just weigh a tonne. Good for building sites.

        • Yes I agree with all that. They do also have composite toe caps to keep the weight down. I wear them 12+ hours a day for weeks at a time. The only down side is the Steel Blue soles fall apart after a couple of years.

  • never heard the term apre until now, but I'm not a snow going fella

  • These are fantastic all weather shoes. Great for the snow.

  • +1

What does apre mean? How's it different to the normal premium version?

    • It's when the Snow Bunnies come out to play!

    • +1

Nothing. It seems to be a term added in by the store, not by Timberland

  • Is the sizing US on this website? Welp I think it is judging by the size guide πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

    1. What do people in Australia think of Timberlands? I know in the states they're iconic, but I have no idea why or what people think of them over there either.

    2. Apparently APRE boots are for snow conditions. How uncomfortable are they going to be during Aussie summer?

  • -1

    composite or steel cap?

    • +1

      Neither.

      These arent safety boots

      • Just same cost look alikes?

        • +1

They were the original canadian hiking/outdoorsy boot. Steel caps just ended up with the same colour

  • +4

The only bloody timberlands that i am consuming is the ones with nelly Furtado in them

  • Great boots, does anyone have any good tips for cleaning theses boots and this colour?

  • Mustard boots and Kepper jeans
