I've got the solar version…. And the capacitor failed… Replacement is too expensive
Which brand and how many months/years since purchase?
I had a kinetic several years ago and it only lasted 5 years before the capacitor shat itself. Repair was more than half the value of the watch so ditched kinetic and went solar.

i was kinda hoping those watch nerds would hype on and convince me that:
1. i really do need another watch, and

Kinetics are a bit outdated now with how good solar is. I've read if you don't wear them often the capacitor (battery) will have a shorter lifespan.
Solar doesn't suffer this problem because they can still be charged without the need to wear them.
