  • Amazon is $328 for 2 or 199 for 1.

If you have eBay plus, there's a code for $30 off the two pack and a further $10 off the one pack. Makes it substantially cheaper than Amazon

      • i only have $10 off.

    That three pack price… wtf?!

    • +1

      That math ain’t mathin

  • Who are going to buy the 3-pack? Maybe environmental lover~

    • It takes 3 to tango

  • Please explain to me like I am a 5-year old, differences between these and the x55?

I am planning to mesh it up to a TP-Link AX1500/Archer AX12 if that sways me over to the x55 instead of these.

    • From ChatGPT:
Imagine you have two magic boxes that help make the internet work really well in your house.

The Deco X80 is like a super strong magic box. It can make the internet go super fast, even if many people are using it at the same time. It also has some extra magic tricks to make sure everything works perfectly and is safe.

The Deco X55 is also a good magic box, but it's not as strong as the Deco X80. It can still make the internet fast, but not as fast as the X80. It doesn't have as many special tricks as the X80, but it still does a great job of helping the internet work in your house.

So, the main difference is that the Deco X80 is stronger and can handle more stuff at once, while the Deco X55 is still good but not as powerful.

      X80 - X55 = X25.

But given my limited maths, I couldn't figure out the value of X.

      • Between 1B to 4B? :p

Deco doesn't create a mesh Wi-Fi network with Archer even though they are both made by TP-Link. Do you already have the Archer AX12?

Option 1. Use the TP-Link Deco as your router and mesh Wi-Fi setup.
Option 2. Use the TP-Link Archer AX12 router with TP-Link OneMesh compatible devices.

      Deco X80
      Quad-Core 1.6GHz ARM-A53 Processor.
      512MB RAM.
2 x Gigabit (1000Mbps) Ethernet ports on each Deco X80.
      1 x 2.5Gbps (2500Mbps) Ethernet port on each Deco X80.
      4 x High-Gain Antennas (Internal).
Faster Wi-Fi speeds at a greater distance are possible.
      Wi-Fi covers up to 270 m2 (1-pack), up to 500 m2 (2-pack) and up to 670 m2 (3-pack).

      Deco X55
      Quad-Core 1GHz Processor.
      512MB RAM (unconfirmed).
3 x Gigabit (1000Mbps) Ethernet ports on each Deco X55.
      2 x Antennas (Internal).
Fast Wi-Fi speed at less distance.
      Wi-Fi covers up to 232 m2 (1-pack) and up to 604 m2 (3-pack).

    • Just use the mesh instead. I no longer use my AX1500 as the mesh is used as my router. Two decos do my whole house - 5 bedrooms

  • Hmm i would really like 4 of these… but.. is it worth returning my X55 (about $110 each unit) whereas this is somewhere like $137 a unit on ebay

  • Hey guys noob question here. I have Dec XE75 (3 pack) already and if I buy this X80. Can they be connected in the same mesh network?
