Yeah that took me straight to that deal.
Thanks i updated the post with that link
The only store I got was a kebab shop that doesn't even sell burgers.
Last week I got a Chinese place for the French and Italian food offer, not complaining because it was a great meal
All hail the 25 page menu Chinese places
Gotta collect all the combos man.
A succulent French and Italian meal
Only good place popping up for me is Harding's Burger Joint so I guess that's dinner sorted for tonight.
Thanks OP! Worked for Chubby Buns and scheduled for tomorrow night
Doesn't work for pickup orders?
Sucks! I have places in walking distance, so it's to squeeze service fees out of you.
And get you to subscribe to DashPass
Apparently near me is Burger Edge, Burger Road, Burger Temptation, Burger Platform and Burgertory (not to mention Flippin' Burgers and Kick Ass Burgers). These companies really need to have a little originality in their names.
The discount limitations really don't make this worthwhile, min $25 and best way to utilise coupon is under $37.50. Then add delivery and service fees and that the prices are usually higher than the store (one place sells on doordash for $19 what is a $9.50 lunch special in the shop) it's really not worth it.
I'm surprised there's no Burger Joint in your area to add to those names lol.
Yeah, reckon DD is trying different deal offers to map users. Started out with $15 off no min spend, then 50% off $25 min spend, and now 40% off $25 min spend!
These companies really need to have a little originality in their names.
10 years from now, a burger joint called Hungry Surprise will open and close, and you will say "Its not surprising they closed. You can't tell from the name what the hell they sell"
It's like McDonalds, I keep hearing about it but what even is it? Farming goods store?
Yeh this is only worth it if you are taking advantage of the Dashpass free delivery/lower service fee. In which case promos like this make it far cheaper than ordering direct/in-store.
Using Burger Road as an example, it is a total saving of ~21% compared to ordering direct and having to pick up. This is after promo, discounted gift card and Shopback.
Stacked with cashrewards cards. Arvo burgers for tradies sorted thanks!
Delivery for every burger place around me offering this promo code is $8+. Even the ones that usually do it for $2-$3.
DOES IT WORK ON PRE-ORDERS ?
Damn the deals are getting worse everyday… hopefully we get another $15 off no min spend day
Dinner done. Thanks. Went with some pub grub.
Trying to order with this deal. The price is correct in the cart, but when I go to the checkout it takes away my free delivery (currently subscribed). Is this normal with Doordash or is it broken?
It's broken. I had to keep refreshing before it applied the free delivery.
Uurgh, refreshed so many times. Went and did something else and came back, refreshed a bunch more times before it worked. Dinner finally on the way.
Doordash is bullshit, I ordered a burger over an hour ago and it's a km away. Their servers must have gone down syndrome or something, this is atrocious. (profanity) these stupid apps and their dodgy "deals". The fees and inflated prices already exceed what I'd normally be willing to pay (excluding delivery). Die, Doordash, Die!
Why are they still offering deals for the app when it's been broken for two days now? The servers are crashing often, and it's showing restaurants that are hours away.
Was placing an order at Frangos and the service fees and delivery fees came up to almost $11. At that point, it just didnt seem as good a deal. Where are people ordering from?
I looked at making an order, but the places were not close enough to get a likely warm burger with their shitty routing through multiple places. Then half the savings evaporated when they add back in delivery. Just ended up picking a better burger from a place 5 minutes away for less.
