This is only for Bicycles and does not cover Motorcycles :(

    Nice. NSW please take note

  • Thanks for fixing up the title mods :)

  • +1

To get this, do you need to opt in to the below?

"Keep me up to date on the latest RACV and arevo product offers, benefits and services. "

  • This should come in handy when all the bike lanes are gone.

Thank goodness the Liberal party has almost no chance in Melbourne.

That's one of the dumbest ideas I've heard. It's no surprise they are so unpopular.

      • +2

Good to see this is the overwhelming vibe in the comments section of the article too

      • Jacinta is horrible but the Liberals are so much worse.

  • New members to RACV or new members to LoveToRide ?

    • -2

There's no single mention of "new members" in the entire deal and its linked material.

      Just get the app.

added now, fine print at the bottom of the RACV form. You can probably use an new email or throwaway number to get around this when signing up; then changing it later

The logo designer didn't think this through

  • Send it to a m8. He's a huge bike lover!

  • +3

Is it just me, or the logo looks like a sphincter?

    • +2

Literally came to read the comments to see if I was the only one who thought this.

      • +1

Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

I reckon the designer is using subliminal messaging…

    • +1

      Butt it's a heart shape! 🤗

      • Perhaps the logo needs to be repurposed for a quilton campaign

  • +2

It's asking for a business name in the promo code, do you have to be part of one because it's not allowing me?

  • +2

Seems that this requires your work to register as part of biketober first

    • when registering, it looks like anyone can voluntarily register your own workplace; its not like it needs official permission from the director or something.

in any case, try entering N/A in the field. I'll try to get clarification from racv

      • I've signed up and put my employer's name (not sure if they're part of it)- will see what happens!

    • Not working for me as you must have business name

  • My workplaces' name is too long to enter into the box, does anyone know if I can write something else in?

    • Mine too. Stupid box only takes 10 characters. I just wrote shortened version of it and have sent them an email.

I still maintain you dont have to be a part of a workplace to get this as it says ..

All registered Biketober riders qualify for a free first year of RACV Bike Assist.

      • Thanks! Will do that too.

Bargain! 8 maxi taxis for up to $50 each ride .

  • Nothing popped up for me to claim.

    • there's no pop ups.

I never got the email, guess you have to opt in to marketing or else it is the workplace issue

    • ?? there's no email - just register on the website

      • I did, and never got the email with the offer, according to your own deal there is an email:

A day after you register, you will get an email above that will link you to this form(racv.com.au) which is just a manual contact us form and after pressing submit it says they'll get back in 72 hours.

  • Took forever but finally got the "welcome" email today

  • I never got the email about the free offer

    • there's no email, its just registering on the website…

      • Then what is the "welcome" email you mentioned? I submitted the registration / contact us form.

        • Yeah i submited the registration form on 28th aug. I only got the welcome to RACV bike assist on 11th Sep 2024 that said my cover started 6th sep 2024.

I then made this post, over 2000 click through, could be a while to go if they're signing people manually one by one…
