Excellent value, and much cheaper than purchasing locally. Made in Germany, this is one of the best irrigation stations available; those who have used it rave about how easy it is to set a schedule. Having used many scheduling systems (anyone remember the "fun" associated with setting your VCR to record at a particular time in the 80s and 90s?!) this looks incredibly easy. I've just bought one so will see how it goes.

Almost half the price of the offering at Bunnings:

This irrigation station has previously featured on Ozbargain for $76.18 so nice to see that it is even cheaper now:

  • Thanks OP. Plunged and bought one.
Can you please recommend any budget friendly irrigation pipe to go with this thing?

I've found the cheap ones from ebay last longer than these branded ones..

    • Can you please share the link or name of the product?

    • Product lasts longer or battery lasts longer?

      • product.. from my experience

Have a Gardena (made in Germany) … does what it says on the tin. Very reliable.

We then just use Bunnings generic plastic pipes and spray heads per plant requirement.

  • Added something else from the qualifying list for another 8% off

  • It shows up as $70.96 for me.

    • Yes, price seems to have gone up I'm afraid. Still a great price but not quite as good as the $64.40 it was this morning.

If you have things like this, be careful to keep them out of direct sunlight.

I find a lot of outdoor things designed in other countries can't handle the high UV australia experiences. So solar panels, LCD screens, things like that, end up cloudy and nigh unusable

    • solar panels.

hmmm… So I should keep them in the shade instead?

  • Mine broke within a couple of years. Replaced it with a ZigBee one from AliExpress for less than half the price and it comes with metal fittings rather than plastic.

    • You mind sharing which one you bought? Keen on a zigbee one too

      • +1

OzB keeps on removing my link, it's the rectangular grey Tuya ZigBee one, sort by most sold and it's near the top.

  • Great deal. Ordered. These rate really well on Amazon reviews. I'll make sure mine isn't sitting out in the sun, or at least has part shade.

  • Seems to have expired but discount was minimal so not reported (now 70.06)

  • Anyone seen one of these that is solar powered?
