  Saw this last week, decided to go with the Sony 24-70 GM II from DigiDirect price match.

  Ended up being $1815 - not too much more than the Sigma and potentially better for resale value.

      DigiDirect had it for $2051 for their birthday sale and someone commented it under the 70-200 GM II listing.

      Had it price matched at Sony. Stacked with Amex $50 cashback on Sony and 10% cashrewards.

      Was initially going for the 20-70 F4 G but this price was too good to pass up.

          @xaykogeki: This is the reason why I decided to use Topcashback instead of the other two. Not as much but at least better than nothing to make it near two grand even. Speaking of which it is on back order. When they didn't reply immediately, I ended up ringing on the weekend and they told me that it is very popular. So, it must have been you guys, lol.

    Why does it matter? I have Tamron 28-75mm, I correct vignetting in post, simple lens correction in LR

    The Art 2 was released in May 2024 - you are talking about the Art 1… There is a big difference between the two lenses.
