    I really don't know why Apple TV+ isn't more popular, or if I just happen to be some sort of perfect target audience for them. Most of my streaming is their platform these days, I cancelled Netflix a while back with the plan to just sign up when there's something to watch but I still haven't gotten through my backlog of Apple TV+ shows (and nothing looks good on Netflix anymore, or it gets cancelled before I can get around to watching it).

    Good time to get a trial though, slow horses season 4 starts in a couple of weeks.

      They don’t release lots of content but I agree most of what they release is excellent. It’s not worth $12.99 a month but I’m happy to binge everything for a month or two a year .

      Not enough there to justify the subscription atm, although that will continue to improve over time.
      What there is is mostly good quality, although some of it is not my cup of tea. Their nature stuff for example really suffers from anthropomorphism.

      I do - the content is meh at best and while it undoubtedly appeals to a discerning audience, the content is not that appealing to a general viewer.

      I think it's great and would consider paying to be honest but for no good reason at all whenever I log in to my apple ID it is locked and I have to go through a rigmarole of things to unlock it.

      Yes I've spoken to Apple support, no there seems to be no good reason although after I told them on multiple occasions I only have Android devices they kept telling me I had to go to the App Store on my iPad or iPhone.

      Like they couldn't understand anyone that does not have an iDevice.

      Funny but frustrating.

      Probably just locked me because I have no Apple devices? I have reset the password on many occasions it makes no difference.

        Having used the windows app for both apple tv+ and icloud, you're right they don't care about anyone who doesn't have an apple device. It is a good point, I wouldn't bother with apple tv+ except I have an apple tv.

        The windows app is near useless when streaming, even downloading first then watching is glitchy and unreliable (assuming it downloads). The iCloud app they revamp once a year and it remains a mystery as to why parts of it work and other bits are awful.

    Rejected by Apple on two different id’s , have used too many redemptions , we at Apple think it’s about time you paid us after all that good content we’ve been giving you , shame there’s nothing compelling that I can’t just create another id for .
    On to bigger and better things
    such as

    Binge $2 a month deal , it’s got some really good stuff on it .
    Watching Warrior at the moment , pretty good .
    If anyone hasn’t seen Rome before def recommend .
    Also The Last of us and The Peacemaker is vfunny and lots of older series .
    Movies Cocaine Bear , no hard feelings ,d&d , Oppenheimer, GvsK
    and They Live is a Classic that takes me back , and that awesome fight scene ,
    Great Big Screen 100x40foot Drive-in 80’s action movie .

            @tonester: I thought someone told me on ozbargain here somewhere but I can’t find the link anymore.
            Was for returning customers I think and the deal came up when you clicked on it .
            Can’t find anything about it now but pretty sure deal went to the 4th of next month .
            Don’t know what happened there maybe someone else has a clue .
            Maybe I can ask on a binge forum about it , I will return with some info if I find out anything .

                edit . Actually that link is from months ago so that’s not it exactly , this was within the last couple of weeks .
                It was a targeted offer , maybe someone with an inactive account can try that link or check your emails for his offer ?
                I signed up for it and am still in the first month so I know it’s real and an active deal .
                Also I have set my calendar with several reminders to cancel when the last months renews so I don’t get caught renewing at full price .
                2nd Also , HBO is entering the Aussie market next year I believe , so Binge/Foxtel will be loosing all their HBO content and with it much of their appeal , so maybe now it a good time to try them out .
