Make sure you pair with an audio adapter, as many airlines still use double pin jacks.

I have used it on multiple flights and works a treat. Bluetooth headset can stay on even if you go to the loo!

Would not recommend wearing wireless ear buds to the toilet. Quick way to lose them, or not want to use them again if they touch the gross floor or worse)

    • +3

Lose them? What are you doing where they need to come in if at all?

Can't defecate without listening to mumble rap?

That’s why you don’t shake your head as you’re using the toilet.

This is a transmitter AND receiver. I bought this for my car to play music from phone via car speakers. Easy set up and works well. Way less noise/interference than using FM transmitter.

Darn, i paid $28.79 like just start of July.

How many investment properties do you have to liquidate to pay for the $0.80 shortfall

  • Do they work well with Airpod Pro 2's or Max?

    • Most don't work at all with Airpod Pros.

      • +1

Yea, I had patchy experience with a couple of these type of transmitter while using Airpods Pro 2. One was Twelve South Airfly Pro, which is ironically sold by Apple as well. It would randomly loose sound and I had to restart the transmitter to establish connection again. It would happen every few minutes or so. I lost the transmitter on my 3rd flight. Then I purchased Avantree Relay, which worked much better than Twelve south with very few disconnection but it wasn't still disconnection free. As in that experience only common was Airpods Pro so I suppose they are finicky with these transmitters. Not sure how other brands would behave.

This one works with Pro https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B09HRGYCSS - I bought especially for the support

      • No random loss of sound, disconnections with Airpods Pro?

        • Nope :)

    • can confirm they do.

  • doesn't airplane headphone jacks uses 2 pins?

  • Any BT lag with these? Would drive me nuts watching an inflight movie

    • +1

I never experienced any lag with it, I'm super impressed with the UGREEN one.

    • +1

      Negligible.

    • I do notice a lag, maybe about 0.3s (paired with Bose QCEBII) which would be a little bit annoying when watching a movie. Curious why some do experience lag and others don't.

      • lag wasn't that bad with my QC35II

  • Can this one be permanently plugged into power such as USB in a car?

    • Sure you can, it has a type c port for charging.

  • Too much interference in the plane, not recommended

    • For me it wasn't the case

    • how much?
      never experienced any drop outs/interferences

  • +2

I just plug these into one of the 2 ports. Not sure the technicality behind it but it works. Don't need the 2 pin adapter.

  • Like in Emirates IFE, many new airline IFEs will have bluetooth (including Airpods) support. But a great gadget for cars.

  • Going on a flight in a couple of weeks. How would I connect an iPad (with lightning port) to two earphones/headphones?

I guess I need something like this - but with a lightning connector rather than the AUX connector. Does that exist?

Or would my only choice be this plus an AUX to lightning adaptor?

    • If you had bluetooth headphones why would you need an adapter to connect to your iPad?

      • To connect a second pair. So that two people can watch the same movie.

  • would this connect to two headphones at same time?

    • +1

      Stated in listing:

Dual Pairing for Shared Music: Connect two AirPods or wireless Bluetooth headsets simultaneously via the Bluetooth receiver. Share musical and visual experiences with close lovers or friends during a flight with ease.

  • It’s back in stock.
