Seems like a good price for a 48% non chill filtered whisky. Not too many reviews around but everything I've read is positive. Nicks have it on clearance for $130 down from $170.

Solid whisky, good ABV, and great price. Would have copped
Bought one. Thanks OP
Damn it, sold out as I was going through checkout
That RRP is wild.
Anyone here visited India to advise on how much this costs locally?
I am currently working on a project with a few people from India. At $80 they are surprised by the markup. Given current exchange rates, they think it should be priced at around $55. At $159, someone is taking the pi$$.
The tax alone on 700ml of 48% booze is over $34 - it can't possibly be anywhere near $55 landed unless they're buying it out of India for under ten dollars a bottle.
@ Nom: Some people might get offended with $10 a bottle. India has lot of good whiskeys. You should try a Feni which is the heart of Goa. Only Portugal people would know how a Feni taste is yumm & strong.
Fenny is made of real cashewnut juice which is fermented, distilled & is colourful like a Vodka or Gin. I bought 1 bottle last year & the customs thought it's a bottle of vinegar. 😜@rehan770: And India has good whiskes like Signature, Royal Stag, Royal Challenge & my favourite Mc Dowells No. 1. When I visit Bombay I go to a local bar every evening for sure & spend $20 with good food. 1 pint & some nibbles called chaknaa & dinner is done.
Cazulo is the name of Feni which is an ancient drink mate.
The PX cask is in stock for $88
