Recently drowned my Philips trimmer so have upgraded and picked up the OneBlade PRO in combination with the Philips All-in-One Series 7000 Multigroom 15-in-1 Face for $115.49 (was $159) delivered from Amazon AU.

At $214.99 combined, this is cheaper than purchasing the Philips Multigroom Series 9000 20-in-1 Trimmer $249 (was $369) delivered from Shaver Shop, albeit with slightly different accessories.

You could then purchase something like ProCase Hard Travel Case for Philips Norelco Multigroom $24.99 plus delivery (free with Amazon Prime) from Amazon AU and still have money left over.

Any feedback on what this thing is like on the nuts?

Do not recommend using without a guard. Great for everything else though

    • +3

Very good - best I've ever bought

    • +3

      Nuts are fine

    • +1

Go with this one for body and nuts.
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/856889

      • I have this and it's "ok" but it has nipped my sack a couple of times which I have not been impressed about. It is good for back but works best in shower because using dry the blades keep clogging up (I'm not super hairy but it was a problem nonetheless).

    • +2

very good. best one i've used on my nuts

      • +3

        Username checks out

    • I only use these on non-sensitive parts. I prefer Panasonic ER-GK80 on nuts, very gentle and the I-shaped design actually helped.

    • +1

      asking for friend?

    • Definitely cuts the nuts without a guard, however, this was before I discovered the icecube trick.

    • Great so long as you have the "0" guard on

got one for me and my dad. my old shaver is blunt and don't really want to pay $300 for a new one.. this seems perfect.. thanks for the post

    • +19

Is this for your dad's nuts?

      • Hope not lol

  • Face and body, wish I got this instead of BodyGroom which says you ought not use on your face.

    • Can confirm bodygroom is crap for face.

  • I've got the first version which was from years ago - doing fine for me but would this be worth the upgrade at all?

    • +6

I'll give it a shot - can add Derby double edge razors 5 pack and use the new account signup to mailing list $10 off code for $93.94 regular shipped

      • Can you use the Derby double edge razors with the Phillips OneBlade Pro 360? That would be a huge saving over the regular replacement blades if you could

  • +1

Is this any good for maintaining sharp precise beard lines under the neck?

I currently use the back single blade of the Gillette fusion razor for precision styling.

    • +4

Not precise, no. Does a clean enough edge. Nothing beats a razor though.

      Craig David, is that you?

  • +11

I bought this last sale for sis. It trims so close it almost appears she waxed or used a blade.

  • +4

I'm a little disappointed in that 360 face and body kit. 360 blade shaves fine, but compared to my daily oneblade shaver, it's less comfy to hold. And the comb is almost useless.
    I like the usb charging.

    • +3

I found the same. got the OneBlade Pro around 3 years ago and it's been a game changer, very comfortable to hold

but this is almost too thin and not angled enough

and I got my OB Pro for like $60 from Amazon - checked, $58 in June '21

for body I use ceramic blades Xiaomi trimmer I got off AliExpress for like $17. the combination of the 2 got me covered for everything

    • I love mine (360 blade, dont have body), its not as good as a razor, but also doenst cut my face. I have very sensitive skin though.

    Couple of corrections and notes:
    1. Please update link title and description to remove travel case, this one doesnt come with a travel case. It is also an older model (Model QP4631), maybe discontinued?
    2. Latest models start with QP65XX) - also on sale but for higher price deptending on whether you want a travel pouch or a travel case ($149-$189), but both higher priced models also have charging indicators - Travel case and extra charger is $189 (https://www.shavershop.com.au/philips/oneblade-360-face--and…)

About $20 cheaper on Amazon for the newer models

Does anyone have experience using this vs a Braun 7 series? I bought the Braun a few years back because reviews lead me to believe it was the best around, but I've always been disappointed by how many passes and weird angles I'd have to try to take off all the growth, particularly around the neck/jaw.

  • You can get it cheaper from Amazon prime with free international shipping. https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0BZDPFH45/

    • He is definitely a "Champ"

  • Thanks OP, think I'll get this

Tried getting into shaving with a safety razor to save money. I don't mind it, but I've realised I'm too time poor and lazy to buy into the shaving "ritual" thing

    • Same for me - a good disposable razor in the shower is good enough for me.

  • Does anyone use the cheaper OneBlade 360 on their body?

    https://www.shavershop.com.au/philips/oneblade-360-012409.ht…

wonder how long will it take Phillips to use USB-C for their shavers.

  • +1

Prob a better buy from TGG if you want more flexibility (and reach around)…

$93 bucks if you hit the 'price check' button.

    https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/philips-bodygroom-series-5000…

    • Can you shave your face with it?

  • Ordered two month ago on Amazon for $107, just arrived today.

  • +1

apparently phillips doesnt know what 360 means….. these blades wobble a bit, just makes it difficult to be precise.

  • How does King C Gillette style master compare to this

  • I have tried Braun series 7,8,9 .Panasonic 5 blade etc etc.

This old Panasonic eS-ST29 for like $50 works fine on the sack. Been using it 3 times a week for years. It does nick the sack maybe once per month.

    • Yeah nah 12 nut cuts per year doesn’t sound fine to me. I can’t remember the last time I cut my sack (if ever) with a regular disposable razor.

  • Noob's question – is this any good for regular men's face shaving?

    • I think it does, its not as close as a razor though. Love mine.

  • What's the difference between this and QP6551/15 model ? Is it new model?

    • +1

The model posted in OP is not a pro model and it seems to be an error by Shaver Shop because the Philips website doesn't have a Pro "connectivity" model.

The actual Pro model (the one you linked) includes longer battery life, LED digital battery display with travel lock, better comb attachment with 14 length adjustments (5 on non-pro), dedicated charger included (not just usb cable).

I spent an annoying amount of time trying to figure it out and I'll be returning my order.
