Been using it for 5+ years, in all the areas you can think of - this is a must-have for me, still going strong. The motor in this and the top-end ones is the same, top-ends just have some extra accessories, go for it, best $42 you can spend on prime day.
I was curious as well, good to know.
cheers mate. appreciate it <3

How close of a shave is it? Good for shaping as well? Or purely for trimming?
99.9% close to shave - it has trimmer (on the very edge) and shaving foil (in the middle) working together - end results is extremely close to shave or perhaps equivalent to shave.
It's mainly bodygroomer (body shaver) - not for shaping beard, if that's what you meant.
Have used this for 2 years now and it does the job. I like to let my bush grow out just so I have an excuse to use this baby to its full effect!
So you can use this on your shaft and sack without risk of nicks and cuts?
Yes, just make sure to stretch the skin for a smooth glide.
The risk is minimal, just need to be gentle about it. But I haven't done it in a while, this winter is cold I need all the fur I have to keep warm.
Yes but stretch the skin. If you use on wrinkled skin it nips
Do you need to replace the head after a while?
I am using the same for 5 years now.
Only if you nick it
i just received it today and instruction manual says 12months, but lord knows ill still use it for years if other commenter is correct
I have been using it for 3 years and it is the most useful product you can buy for this price.
Agreed with all the other commentors. Been using this for years with no issue however, although it is fully waterproof, it is basically non-functional to use in the shower or while wet. I dont know if this is common knowledge for all trimmers but this was news to me.
I only use it in the shower and it's been perfect for me. Actually can't use it dry for my back because it clogs.
hmmm… Last night I ordered the Philips OneBlade 360 www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0C815WY3Z.
Now wondering if I made the right choice. If you happen to get both, please share your review. I looked many vidoes of oneblade but wasn't convinced enough that its an upgrade to the one in deal as a bodygroomer, so didn't try oneblade. Oneblade seems more like for face rather body.
If you cut the grass under the tree, it makes the tree look bigger :)
It's worth noting that this is battery powered which i see as a disadvantage. It's rechargeable counterpart only has 10% off on Amazon, but i would assume be a better choice in the long run
are you sure as it says rechargeable battery on this one.
It mentions: Batteries : 1 Product Specific batteries required. (included)
But if anyone can confirm it is rechargeable, i will definitely buy one!
I also saw another identical version with an included power cable, for plugging in the bottom and charging.

My BG3010 uses rechargeable battery and the Philips charger which also works for 7000 multi groomer.
@nfr: Awesome, thanks for confirming!
It's rechargeable. If you look in the manual you get a charger that plugs directly into the outlet. The one you linked is if you want a cable that plugs directly into a USB port I'm guessing.
@mored: Thanks team! It's arriving today, looking forward to that smooth clean shave without the cuts. :/
This one or the one blade?
Would love any first hand experiences that anyone can share
