Can anyone tell me what's so special about BLUNT umbrella? Forgive my ignorance but I'm coming from a $12 bunnings brollie POV.
Super sturdy in the wind, doesn't flip inside-out, blunt corners.
Downside with the metro : a bit long when collapsed down.
I have about 4 of these in my car, home, hallway, work.
It does flip inside out in extreme winds; happened to me once. But it'll survive unlike others that flip inside out and never recover.
Must have been quite a storm!
I've had one 'rib' break, and a cap at the end pop off. Blunt support sent out a replacement umbrella without issues

They're less sharp.
Bunnings ones a golf umbrella, so larger canopy but it’ll be less compact when folded too. I have a Blunt Metro that I can keep inside a modest backpack for those workdays where there’s unexpected rain. If you want something portable to carry about and use in a pinch, the Blunt Metro is good. If it’s going to live in the boot of your car or at home and size is no issue, the larger canopy of a golf umbrella is a benefit and will do better in rain.

Depends what you want. These are more for women that want to protect their hair in rain. Your head and shoulders will be about all it will protect. A golf umbrella will protect you to the waist in a good downpour. Your legs will still get wet.

just arrived yesterday. it's… fine. the finish isn't reflective/metallic (for some reason the thumbnail image gave me the impression it was), and for the stowed size, the umbrella is actually pretty small. unlikely to replace the trusty shedrain that i've had forever.
