      I suspect they've price jacked things to force use of their app and in turn invalidate SB. The price does NOT apply through SB, it's app specific.

    • I wanted to ask this as well. The Glenlivet 12 is currently $74 from $90 on "Appy". If I go through the App and order this for $74, with the SP cashback I'm looking at $56. But I'd only get it if there is cashback…
      SP has been hit or miss for me. I find CR more reliable.

    I checked the app the bonus is capped at per member

    • In the past it has been per transaction, but it would be good to have this confirmed.

      • From what the app says the bonus is capped per member. Not sure about the base 27%

      So, the 27% cashback has a $20 cap per order, but the 10% bank bonus (capped at $20) is a one-time deal per account. Even if you make multiple BWS orders, you'll only get one bank bonus. @StarPlatinum

    It is a painful one, hard to get tracked. Reported over a month ago and not hear anything back. Not worth the effort without pizza hut bundle cashback

      The trick is not to collect until tracking is confirmed. If it isn't, cancel over the phone. But yes, it's a PITA either way.

      My most recent BWS one tracked and said 'Confirmed by July 16'. Reported shortly after July 16 and still just showing tracked. Not going to trust Shopback for much other than Pizza Hut unless I would have bought anyway.

          @gotyourback Thank you for your swiftly response. I tried to take a screenshot from my desktop and immediately I see what the problem is now.

          In the app, after I report a missing "tracked", it is stuck with "Calculating" and no further info, and as you could imagine, people are frustrated and unhappy.

          In the desktop, it actually said "pending" and has an available by date, if your app could do the same as the desktop website, then people will feel they are being kept in the loop rather than being ignored.

    • I just recently checked all my history on both cashrewards and shopback and about 1/3 of these BWS promos that tracked fine ended up being rejected 3 months later.

      I think at least one of them was because 1/10 bottles of wine was out of stock so they removed it from the other before it was picked up so the entire order is rejected, even if each item is tracked seperatly.

      If you are going to use this just buy a carton and don't trust the cashback will ever be paid.

    • The 27% standard Cashback capped at $20 will be per order while the 10% Bank Bonus (capped at $20) will be per account. This means you only get one bank bonus per account for this offer @tunzafun001

      • You either got it delivered, or your store is open later than you think. It's 100% a blanket thing for click n collect orders.

    My cashback tracked swiftly, however, it was confirmed 16 July and I’ve seen and heard nothing. I reported it in the app, but it’s been crickets.

        In the thread posted by ilikeit you said the same thing a month ago. Are you only addressing transactions where people contact you or are you working to solve the problem?

        It seems something went wrong with that previous BWS deal with target confirmation date of 16 July. My $25 plus Westpac bonus is still showing as Pending. I clicked the Enquire button more than 2 weeks ago. Crickets.

        Solve this for everyone, not just those who contact you.

    I noticed today that I have 3 BWS purchases that were meant to be confirmed by 16 July 2024 but are just sitting there as “tracked”. These orders were picked up and haven’t been returned/refunded. I’ve reported the delay through the website as these are now a month overdue.

    Was going to order from BWS today but I will give it a miss and will wait to see if these purchases are eventually confirmed.

    @gotyourback With these last two comments, I now count 6 different posters here who had problems with the cashback due to be confirmed on 16 July, in addition to those who have reported problems but have not specifically mentioned the date. Plus those complaining in the thread on the previous deal. That indicates a LOT of affected people.

    You have known about this for a month. Are you really doing anything about it or just fixing those who write to you?

    Edit. I see ypu have responded to my earlier post and said "We'll keep you posted on what we find out." So a month down the track and that is the best you can report?

    Using ShopBack always makes me on edge. Easily the most risky cashback company out of the 3 IMHO.

      Reading between the lines it seems shopback knew there was a issue with BWS yet ran this promo anyway.

      Also why is it that the extension lets you activate cashback if it doesn't work via the extension.

          Not sure why you got negged, literally says in the app "Cashback will be tracked in 2 DAYS".

          Just set a reminder to check in a couple of days and only pick up when/if it tracks.

          • @MiscOzB: Usually tracks a lot faster than 2 days. If it takes longer than a day than something has gone wrong and you're basically just waiting for them to fix their tracking and go back through the orders - who knows if that will take 2 days or longer.

            • @Ranike: Yeah they should say "tracked in up to 2 days" as I agree, usually it'll track within hours or no more than a day. Not looking good for this one unfortunately but at least there's no rush with collecting from BWS, they can hold for weeks.

  • Shopback is lousy - all promise and no delivery. I complained about a couple of cashbacks and someone obligingly took it on and I got them added, then the next few worked too. I now have two Expedia hotel purchases from last month which never showed up, I enquired about the missing shopbacks and they appear, but no dollar value. I know what comes next………………… Once all my money comes in I'm pulling out and will do all my cash backs with another mob who never seem to fail me - they're tops for cashback ;)

    • had an experience with Expedia through ZIP rewards. The transaction tracked initially, then it seemed Expedia created a new order and cancelled the initial one. The cashback subsequently declined…

    SB actually getting worse these days IMO - have had to follow up several tracked deals well after payout date lately.

    I wonder if anyone had their order track from this round. I've usually had a pretty good run of my orders being tracked but nothing yet.
    Unfortunately I ordered a couple of clearance bottles and didn't want to cancel. I'm just hoping they get it sorted.

    Whether or not the tracking now comes through or not this has been yet another f*** up by Shopback. Frankly, I'm more irritated at myself believing they were worth another shot after countless other issues. Topcahback conforms BWS reliably in under an hour, and for other brands (such as Ali) within minutes of purchase. Why does Shopback find this so hard?

    They laid off 24% of their employees in March this year, according to a press release on their website. This might explain the recent issues with tracking and customer service.

      if you log into your account on the website, you can go to click history and put in a dispute through there. I just did that and also said that everyone's tracking didn't seem to work that day for BWS. I haven't picked up mine yet and I won't unless they fix this.

    @gotyourback order now shows that it didn't track, despite pop up saying it tracked when purchase made. If i dispute, will I definitely get cashback or should i cancel my order.

    I have a printscreen of window proving the order made, but this was still not enough to get my pizzahut shopback once.

      I thought I grabbed a screenshot, unfortunately my print screen button on my keyboard hasn't been working for the last month or so (so I just found out yesterday when I did one and nothing was there….did a search and the only fix is to hit the windows button at the same time now). I had the notice show on the extension that it had tracked and to click through shopback again for another purchase. Damn, thought I had a screenshot.

    When does BWS cancel your order? Might call and tell them to hold it longer.

    I placed two orders through Shopback on Thursday BWS @ 27%, Myer @ 17% neither have tracked.

    Due to their dismal record I have my screenshots ready for the inevitable dispute case. Again..

    2 orders didnt track and a order that says confirmed by the 6th of august but still hasn't confirmed.

    All my other shopback orders from different stores have tracked fine.Time to stop ordering at bws through shopback.

    @gotyourback no tracking and no replies to any of the comments here or enquiries lodged directly with Shopback. Just not good enough. Any good will that may have existed will soon be gone. You have until tomorrow to respond or I'll be cancelling my BWS order and closing my Shopback account. Topcashback will be getting all of my business.

      • Normally if the Cashback from Amazon showing as "calculating" is because the purchased item categories is advertised as 0% on the date of purchase or it's a Missing Cashback. However if that is not the case, yes you can drop me a DM and I'll help to check it for you. @trixieb
