Terms and conditions

This promotion is open to members that successfully activate the bonus offer as directed by Cashrewards (“Eligible Entrants”). To qualify for the $5 bonus, Eligible Entrants must first activate the offer, then shop online using a Cashrewards platform on 15 August 2024 between 12:00AM AEST to 11:59PM AEST (“Promotional Period”) with a minimum spend of $50 (incl. GST) on a single eligible transaction (“Qualifying Purchase”). A Qualifying Purchase excludes the purchase of ineligible items as set out in the merchant special terms, or items with a 0% cashback rate at the time of purchase. Bonus will be approved in the Eligible Entrant’s Cashrewards account within 7 days of the associated Qualifying Purchase being approved. Cashrewards Terms of Use (https://www.cashrewards.com.au/terms-and-conditions) apply to the use of the Cashrewards platform and any associated purchase. Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account and is over and above the advertised store cashback rates which still apply to the transaction. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses. Fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

                  @Poor Ass: Qantas Discovery, so 0.75 Qantas points per $1. Not great, but I can access AMEX offers (whenever the good ones pop up, anyway). Qantas is not my preferred domestic airline, so the lower points earn rate does not bother me.

                  When I churn through Visa/Mastercard credit cards, those usually are Velocity, which works better for me.

                    Also the flybuys to velocity 15% bonus hasn't happened in ages

        @WookieMonster, can confirm bought the liquor gift card from CR. Added that to Google wallet and use that to buy 50 Coles myer card from liquorland.

      I didn't have any issues adding a 7-11 card to Google Wallet. Can you please confirm the trouble were you referring to so that I can watch out? Is it during tapping the phone?

    got a $50 City Beach for daughter - $3 cashback and $5 bonus - not bad. Wasn't going to bother as didn't need anything but GC pushed me over the line. Something to add to her birthday pressies in a couple of weeks - she loves that shop.

    Do we have to give our Credit Card info to Cash rewards to buy Giftcards, trying to get the Amazon $50 giftcard. I am trying to checkout, was hoping they have Paypal etc.

      MasterCard & Visa only.

      Once payment confirmed you can go back in and remove your card again.

    I logged into my account on firefox and got one $50 GC after activating the promo then logged out.
    After that my partner logged into their account with the same browser and got another $50 GC after activating promo, when paying I noticed the payment method was the same as my account. It looked odd but I didn't think twice and paid for it. Ended up buying a second $50 GC on my account instead of my partner's.

    Not sure why it happened to me but it did when using Firefox. So be careful guys make sure after logging in the giftcard is purchased through the right account.
    After logging out of my partner's account then log back in then the payment details are correct.
