thanks for the key word PLASTIC

  • Pina Colada recipe is bad.

  • Anyone else in rural areas not able to order this item? I get this error message when trying to order.

"Sorry, this item can't be delivered to your selected address. Learn more. You may either change the delivery address or delete the item from your order."

I seem to be getting this error way more often in the last few months on many different items.

    • This was noticed a lot during the Prime day sales. Unsure if this will have issues but the workaround is this:

Set your default shipping address to a metropolitan address.
Add item to cart (no error, yay)
Change your shipping address at checkout
      Win

      • I just tried what you suggested but it doesn't work. After I change the address back to my regular address during checkout it says-

"There was a problem with some of the items in your order (see below for more information):"

"Sorry, this item can't be delivered to your selected address. Learn more. You may either change the delivery address or delete the item from your order."

        • Maybe they patched the loophole. People used it to delivery large toilet paper to places that likely needed to use AusPost deliveries, which would cost Amazon a fortune compared to their inhouse parcel service.

Plastic and glass shakers conbined with high amounts of force during shaking of a cocktail…what a disaster.

    • You sound pretty disastrous if you're able to shatter plastic or glass with a few cubes off ice barely shifting 15cm (less movement if you put more ice), even if you're putting all your magical force into it.. 😅

Maybe don't try and mix cocktails then and stick to drinking them.. 😆

I was going to say, I'd be a little more worried with the plastic one over time if you're not using the included lid for example and using a secondary vessel as the lid (needing a firm tap to get it off after shaking) but you really don't have that excuse if they provide you with a dedicated lid.

      • Check out the reviews. Both versions have reviews saying they have cracked/shattered shortly after people have purchased.

Why do you think all shakers in bars are made of stainless steel and not glass or plastic.

Maybe try making a cocktail with glass or plastic before providing your thoughts? 🤣 or at least read reviews so you sound like you know.

The reviews are from duds like yourself not using them correctly.. 😅 Most likely not cleaning them correctly either. Which is WHY bars/clubs mainly use them.. We throw everything in the washer whenever we can.. They're also a lot lighter and use less form factor. But yes, they use them because you can abuse them and not have to worry about chipping anything and getting sued.. Also means you don't have to baby everything and can increase your flair like tapping the two vessels on the bartop to seperate them instead of doing it behind the bar or out of sight altogether.. 😅 Maybe you should try working in a bar/club before trying to assume others haven't.. 😂
