  Not familiar with Ozzie regs but that "adapter" wouldn't be legal in NZ, given you have to manually adjust the charger down to 10 amps.

  It was $227.78 in April. Bought one and been using it everyday. Charging at 15A on a normal single phase power point. No explosion yet.

    Are you saying you plug it in as normal with the adaptor and choose 15amps. Or are you saying you have the caravan plug and choose 15amps as intended???
