      *VA Panels offer more of a experience, if you are watching videos/movies, or gaming.
      *VA Panels are better for the eyes and will cause less eye-strain, making it better for long time sessions.
      All in all, IPS is better for gaming, and VA is better for Contrast and color.

        VA panels have slightly better contrast ratio, it's not a game changer. They have far worse smearing and flickering that makes them worse for text or anything in dark scenes.

        Eye strain isn't an issue, turn on f.lux or night light in windows if it bothers you. Eye strain is caused by being focused on something close to you too much, not from spooky blue light.

    I got the IPS one for $79 delivered last year when kogan had a sale on and yeah it's not bad, i'd def try to get it over a va panel.

      The Dell's a (profanity) lamborghini compared to this.

      The Dell is 27", vs 23.8". It's also 1440p vs 1080p. And has displayport, a more modern connector.

        I recently bought two MSI 27's MP275Q which are 1440p amd ~$170 a pop on sale now through JBHifi.

        They are brilliant for work for the money imo.
