    You call and waste the time of store staff members because EB head office can't take their finger out and keep a regularly updated list of eligible games online. It's been an ongoing thing since conception. Nice to have you with us.

    An easy way is if your game's pre-owned price at eb is greater than 30, most likely it is eligible. May not be 100% guaranteed, but you can get an idea.

    i just check the preowned value then divide it by 4, so far has always worked for me though there were a couple of times it was off

      I know the 'Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope' that's on sale for $24 at Amazon & JB, has a base trade-in of $16 at EB Games.
      A preowned copy is being sold at EB Games for $44. Dividing by 4 gives $11, which is above the 'minimum trade value' for it to count anyway.

      I like this estimation method!

        $48 isn’t too bad to buy for the trade. Wonder if we can find something cheaper. Paying $100 for this control seems crazy. I pre-ordered on Amazon at full price just in case, but getting to the $80ish mark would be very nice.

        with preowned items on sale, it goes by the standard amount (was $30, now $20) preowned is still $7.5 (30 / 4)

    @sween64 and OP.

    It's not sold out at EB.

    You have to preorder it online and do C&C, then you can do this deal on the day on pick-up (and subtract $10 deposit from your $49). It can't be applied in advance for this item.

    Warning: The eligibility list may change but at worst, just be prepared to use that $10 credit on something else if you can't use the deal on pick-up.
