Been after a wet and dry vacuum for a while now. Very good machine according this Vacuum Wars review, very much identical in power to their non-s V15 Gen5detect variant.

The "Complete" bundle has the additional fluffy-optic cleaner head with the laser light, so you can see dust ($219 if purchased separately), and a floor stand charger.

I believe this is an all-time-low deal for these Dyson bundles. I know Dyson recently launched their Wash G1 (wet cleaner only) in Australia.

The Absolute is also available from their eBay Store

      $927 with code home120.
Or better still, add a $23 item from an eligible seller (private or store) to take $100 off with the same code. You’d end up paying $900 and have the $23 item free!
Tip: To get your total cost to $1000 total, stock up button batteries (e.g. for your Airtags) in my past Dyson post.

        You are a legend.

Call me lazy and cheap, but a robot can do this at a third of the price.

Call me tight to a fault, but a human can do this with a plastic pipe, lungs and spit bucket for one hundredth of the price.

Call me crazy, but fire would clean my entire house so much faster, and it's FREE!

  • damn hope there's a good upsized cashback deal soon

    • Yes but how long is this deal valid for? We don’t know?

  • Waiting for gen5detect to go on sale again! I'm tempted for this one but not sure about the dual function.

    • One important distinction is the gen5detect doesn't use a trigger, has an on/off button on the back. V15s uses a trigger which can be quite tiring on the hand after a while.

      • The vacuum game has gone soft. In my day everyone had to use a trigger, none of this fancy on/off button shenanigans.

The wet/mopping function is pretty useless, and it's a lot heavier (in an unbalanced way), but it is way more powerful than the other Dyson's i've used (v8/v10).

I actually prefer the trigger. Gives you the ability to instantly stop sucking (don't laugh). Particularly good if your lil fur-baby has scattered LEGO dots from the bonsai or other botanicals kits onto the floor.

  • Very good machine according this Vacuum Wars(youtube.com) review, very much identical in power to their non-s V15 Gen5detect variant.

Its a good vacuum cleaner, mop is juat a bonus.

Look forward to Wash G1 deals.

    • What is the difference between submarine and wash G1? Looking at the wash G1 FAQ it says it can be used for both dry and wet debris so not to sure what set them apart🤔

      • +2

Wash G1 is a well-engineered machine with some new tech to make it a good wet cleaner.
The submarine one is just an attachment piece, almost just a wet roller, far inferior to a dedicated machine.

  • Based on the comments here, this doesn't seem like a great purchase to me.

  • This wet vac by Dyson is gimmicky af. I watched a video on youtube about how yes it simply can suck up spills of water, but when there is say cereal with clunky pieces it doesn't do a good job and cleaning it, basically pushing the mess around probably spend like 5 mins then it looks painful to clean afterwards with all those components!! I would rather use old-fashioned paper towels and clean up the mess, much more quickly and efficiently.

Curious to know who uses this wet vac? How has it benefited you?

    • if you want just a dyson vac v15 - wait for the $800 sale ;)

v10 almost as powerful as v15 - if you dont have pets - wait for the $500 sale

It's more a power mop. You need to vacuum before hand and then mop.

It's ok, as a mop, does save you rinsing like using the normal mop.
Since it's only 1 roller, I go over an area 3-4 times

Water and waste reservoir is enough to mop my kitchen.
But if fullish tilting the mop head can cause the waste water to spill out.

    • The review posted above gives you a good idea of it:

  • Nooooo missed this!

  • what happens if I use JB gift cards to pay for it and decide to return it to dyson within their money back guarantee timeframe?
