The price on these well-reviewed wire-strippers is pretty good at the moment. Lowest of all time is $55 according to the camels, but it usually sits just under $100 on Amazon. They are way over $200 at local Aussie tool shops.

Isn't this the same one at Total Tools: https://www.totaltools.com.au/187691-knipex-200mm-multifunct…
$286.95Sorry, it is this one: https://www.totaltools.com.au/206474-knipex-200mm-metric-wir…
$139I am not sure what the difference is.
First one has AWG markings instead of mmsq, and has screw trimmers. Looks like they're taking the piss on the American model there ;-)
You're right that the second one is the same part as this Amazon listing.
worth considering this as well depending on your usage
why do people still use these when the automatic strippers exist? am i missing something?
I think this is more of an all-in-one tool to carry on a job, as it also has pliers and a cable shear.
Have both, the steel and cutting quality of these are amazing.
Using auto strippers can get frustrating with different insulating materials or certain multi core combinations
$139 at Total Tools
$104.76 at element14
$83.70 at eBay (local stock)
A bit of a stretch to call the local price $200
