Subscribe or gift at least one sub to any streamer from July 30 at 12PM PT until August 19 at 12PM PT, and you’ll receive three free months of Apple TV+.

How it works

To receive 3 months of Apple TV+, eligible users can purchase any eligible new subs or gift subs on Twitch between July 30 at 12PM PT until August 19 at 12PM PT. After your purchase, a code is sent to your Twitch notifications inbox and will be available on the Drops & Rewards Inventory page for redemption on an Apple TV+ redemption site. Reward redemption codes expire on August 31 at 11:59 PM PT, so make sure to redeem yours ASAP.

Eligible users and purchases :

The code is redeemable for anyone not currently subscribed to Apple TV+ (new and qualified returning users), wherever it’s available.*

Eligible subs include:

  • New monthly subs (any tier)
  • Multi-month subs (3-month, 6-month)
  • Gift subs (any tier for any number of months)

    I've used up so many of the free codes the last time I tried it said you've used the max amount of free claims.
    Wonder if this offer will be the same or whether it's regarded as a different offer.

    Almost everything I buy comes with 3 months of free Apple TV. My TV ad pops up, my phone, foxtel subscription and now a twitch account. What is with Apple just handing this out, they don’t have enough shows or content to have the subscription stay after 3 months anyway.

      Pretty standard advertising tactic. First taste is free, and just long enough for you to start a few shows that - whoops, your trial has finished and you can now only* watch if you pay for the subscription.

      *of course this is the internet, you can watch Apple shows without paying extremely easily…

        So Apple is making you give money to Amazon in order to get 3 months of Apple TV that costs Apple to provide you? I haven't paid for apple tv yet with all the free 3 month offers.

          No, you're paying for your Twitch subscription and Apple are giving you 3 months of the subscription for free. You still get the base product you've paid for, the Apple sub is a bonus. Hence, first taste is free.

    SILO was pretty great.
    Good attention to detail, fantastic world-building, and solid characters/plot development. I was pretty stuck to the couch for the way the story evolved.
    Probs a 8-9/10. Does a great job adapting the books so far. Everyone I've recommended it to has enjoyed it and been hooked after the first 2 eps.

    MYTHIC QUEST was another good one!
    Light-hearted comedy and lovable characters. From the makers of Always Sunny. The first few episodes were a bit more 'generic comedy', though by Season 2 it really does find its feet. It has some really heart wrenching episodes which were fantastic. Just finished Season3 and I'm actually keen for the next 2 seasons that they have been renewed for. I like that Apple sticks with their shows and gives them a chance to breathe, rather than cancelling them after a season >.>

    Consider waiting until near the end of this deal to pick it up. Silo is a good show with Season2 coming out on 15 November (4 days within the 3month trial). You'll at least get to see the first few episodes - Season1 gave two episodes on the one day, and I'd hope it is the same this year.

    For anyone considering doing this, I gifted a subscription to a streamer who was not currently online and when I asked about the redemption code received this reply:

    "Hey there,

    I understand that you're facing an issue with receiving a code for the Apple TV+ promotion.

    After further investigation, it appears that you have yet to fulfill the complete promotion requirements.

    Please take a look at the required criteria -

    Purchase or gift a Twitch subscription between July 30th and August 19th, viewers can earn a 3-month Apple TV+ subscription
    Purchases that are processed outside the stated promotion period will not be considered.
    Please note, that the channel must have been live at the time of purchase.
    Eligible purchases include:
    New monthly subs (any tier).
    Multi-month subs (3-month, 6-month).
    Direct, community, and anonymous gift subs (any tier for any number of months)."

    They have closed my support ticket and won't elaborate but the only criteria I didn't meet was the channel being live at the time of purchase. This isn't listed in the terms and conditions so have tried a chargeback through my bank.

    Their twitter support suggests I'm not the only one being fleeced so proceed with caution.
