          @Poor Ass: I predict that a dramatic 180 is not on the cards for this one, but certainly a retrospective look at season 1 could be on the cards if they somehow pull off something miraculous. I'm not holding my breath.

  Season one was truly terrible. What a monumental waste of money. it is mind boggling they have made a second season. Now that Prime has ads, I have abandoned it.

  Big fan of the movies, hobbit was little lack lustre but i wouldnt touch S1 with a 29 foot pole. And i refuse to acknowledge S2 even exists. Ill just re-read the books if i get bored.

  Shame that the show felt like a well produced fan fiction. It wasn't bad, just didn't have the magic of The Lord of the Rings or even The Hobbit. Just felt off…
