  • $15 less than my favorite Patriot EP cards…. Might be worth giving Sandisk another chance at that price!

  • Got one. Thanks OP

  • +2

1TB available for $83.61 lowest ever?

    • Lowest ever according to the 3 headed camel

  • +1

that's a good price at 19.99 plus profit margin

    • 19.99? How do you know what cost price is?

  • +2

    U1 card is slow.

  • Good for Tapo security camera?

    • I think 512GB is a bit too much for security cameras isn't it?

    • +2

Better to go with High Endurance for continuous recording

      • But it is event triggered not for continuous recording 24/7

        • Should have no problem as Tapo is event triggered, nothing like dashcam.

          • @lufee: i have been using non-high endurance card in my dashcams for over 5 years, no problem at all.

  • +1

    Bought 2. Thanks OP

  • Is this too large for a Viofo dashcam?

    • +3

No, they take microSDXC form factor.

  • +1

    A2 1Tb for 110

  • +7

If you plan on using this for action camera, drone or dashcam just be aware that you will need to lower the bitrate and possibly the resolution. This card is a bit to slow for 4k recording at higher bitrates. 1440p resolution is ok though

  • +2

The timing, thanks OP. My switch card died yesterday.

  • Wouldn't mind getting one for my blackvue dash cam.
But the manual says "Important: Only BlackVue Approved microSD cards can be used,
3rd party microSD cards may void your warrant"

    Is that just bullshit?

    • +2

      yes…. A FAR from truth

  • +2

My usual question: This or hold out? I know my Switch doesn't need any faster than this, but it also doesn't really need 512gb yet.

    • +1

Me and you will be holding for a very long time lol

  • is 150 MBps too slow for Ally or LeGo?

    • +1

Read speed is ok once game is installed but need to wait bit longer if you are actually writing some files on them.

      • Yes, read speed I was talking about. I understand that write is slow and will take time to download/store games.
just not sure if there will be a performance will be bad in single player story driven titles like Horizon Zero Dawn

  • Does anyone here try to use this card in Insta 360 X4? I remember i read about the incompatiblity issue (with sandisk cards).

    • +1

I'd go for a U3 card, unless you're recording at potato quaity.

  • Thanks I got 2

  • Thanks OP, got one.

  • Is it good for a window 11, i7 laptop with SSD? ( Just to get more storage)

  • Are the write speeds on this any good for photography? If not, anything that would be recommended?

  • Thanks, not loving the middle of September delivery date but, it is what it is.

  • It's coming up $60 for me? Any ideas? I tried going to Amazon de directly too. I am a prime member

    • It was erroring for a while at the lower price, and yeah now its at $60. So looks like the deal is done.

  • +1

    Deal has expired

  • Do these bigger capacity sd cards work in Nintendo Switches??

  • Did anyone have their orders shipped yet?

  • It was supposed to be delivered on 15Aug2024 for me but was delayed to today(21Aug2024) and got an update today saying 'Your package may be lost'.
Contacted Amazon and they processed a refunded.

Asked if they could re-shipping for the deal price, they replied 'place a new order and once delivered contact us with old and new order ids and we will issue an Amazon gift card of the difference'
