    30W High-Speed Charging:

    A 30W Anker for $45.98 seems a good deal.

    • funny stuff!

    • Can get a 60W Anker for the same price in Asia.

  • How do I get the cheap price?

    • Must be a prime member

    get the iniu!

    • is the iniu a good power bank? which one?

      • pretty much any. They have similar ratings and efficiency to xiaomi and anker.

this one is good (wait for $35~):

        • and if you wait, you better be quick. I managed to get it for $29 mid-May. A deal that lasted literally 18 minutes.

30W 10k mAh and they're wanting so much money for it?? doesn't seem like a good deal….

pretty sure I remember one of the colours being $39.99 on launch (weirdly doesn't show on Camel, checked all colours too), with normal price being $69.99 (not $79.99 like it's showing now).

also early on there was a handful of negative 1-2 star reviews saying the power bank would charge very very slowly. like less than 5V/1A and took overnight charge when it was advertised to do fast charge.

if yours does this it's meant to charge a bit slow on the first charge, then fast charge from the 2nd charge. but the firmware had some kind of error which made it continue to charge very slow every time. to fix this you get a short USB-C to USB-C cable and (with nothing else plugged into the power bank) you plug the powerbank into itself which "resets" the powerbank. if you don't believe me it should say this somewhere in the user manual (reset).

    • just to be clear, you do not need to do the above reset unless your powerbank is charging very slowly on the 2nd charge.

seems to be many reviews since then without any issue and the power bank charging correctly for 2nd charge. it should charge at 18w max (not constantly but if half empty battery should be charging around 18w, then slow down gradually as it reaches 100%).

This is way better for $30
    https://www.amazon.com.au/LIMETA-10000mAh-Portable-Independe…

Its more compact than the Anker and uses 2 samsung INR21700-50E cells instead of possible chinese cells on the Anker.

    • Yeah right.

    • yeah I'm pretty sure Prong tested that one and it performed well. they recommended it to me and it was going to be the next small power bank I buy if I needed another one. another good point Prong mentioned was ability to limit max charge level , which I think you do with the app? very smart feature if you limit power bank's max charge to 90% it greatly increases number of total cycles.

that one even does 18w x 2 output when two ports in use (actual fast charge spec). Anker seems to only achieve 15 x 2 output. Anker has a USB-A port which can be handy though.

when I checked nobody had teardown the Anker in this deal, but now there is. https://youtu.be/dnt1Bn24cF4

video shows 2x dark purple 21700 cells. just confirmed numbers and that large QR code, from google search looked like Lishen 21700 which is not bad but not as good as Samsung 21700 (light purple). funny Lishen also has a light purple 21700 now but with bad reviews maybe trying to trick people into thinking it's samsung cell.

      • Yes, you can limit max charge to 80% using the app.

cool thanks. Sony speakers have the same feature in app for battery health. I think they limit to 90% though. 80% should be even better for health, but also sacrifice total available capacity.

10000mAh honestly the limit in terms of size for me. I have 13000mAh atm and is just right with very good performance after many years because I take care of it. I don't need to replace it yet. 👍

  • Too much for a 10k mAh and 30w.

    • yeah I have to agree it is a bit overpriced. and also design has many ports for it's size.

for example if they just give it 1 or 2 USB-C with lower price and advertise as compact fast charging it would be ok.

video showed it with 3 ports in use only output 5V per port, which means it's slow charging devices. I still slow charge stuff but right now USB-C and fast charge only is preferred by most consumers. the product is more complicated than it needs to be, adding to the cost to make it.

    I wouldn’t recommend this powerbank
It takes like 4 hours to charge the powerbank from empty to full, and I’m using their own Anker charger and thunderbolt cable to fully charge the powerbank

  • 18w input lol and overpriced as hell still

  • i thought the anker was one of the reliable brands to get and was almost about to pull the trigger on this one. But not according to the reviews here.

I need a 10000mah power bank that does fast charging. Any recommendations? I'm looking at the iniu posted above.

    • you just missed this deal. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/859763

I just checked again it was appealing because can do 18W max out both ports at the same time. but now reading the spec it can only do 18W out even when using just one port? weird. I thought it would do at least 30W output if just using one port if it can do 36W combined.
