20% upsized cashback for non Westpac customers too

Just when I had ordered clothes on the upsized from Cashrewards…

  • Uniqlo U AIRism would be excluded?

    • Yes it is excluded and not eligible for Cashback as it falls under Uniqlo U categories

      • got it, thanks!

      • Can one of you team reply my email? I have been chasing my Cashback for 8 weeks, but you just don't reply my email after weeks 3.

  • Has anyone had personal experience getting cashback on Uniqlo U? Back in 2021 I was able to despite the same exclusions, but unsure about whether that's changed.

  • Sad no bonus cash back for Bank of Melbourne card users.

    • -5

Because BoM isn’t a partner of shopback

  • +1

Is this capped per account or per transaction?

    • +1

Also want to know if the upsized cashback is capped per transaction or account.

    • +1

@gotyourback are you able to advise if the cap is per user or per transaction?

      • I just made two separate orders and tracking just came through for the full amount of $20/20 on both orders.

That said, there's still the possibility that one of those could get declined before finalising in 3 months.

      • +1

the capped amount of $20 for the Uniqlo Cashback will be per transaction :)

        • Can one of you team reply my email? I have been chasing my Cashback for 8 weeks, but you just don't reply my email after weeks 3.

  • +2

So is this 40% off if you have a Westpac card?

    • +1

      More like a 20% + 20% separately, so more like a 36% off.

      • -1

        That's not how cashback works.

        • Still 36% off full GST inclusive price.

          • +1

@linkii: I reckoned based off ex-GST. That's how all the cashback works.

      • +3

This is correct, separate 20% off the GST exclusive price.
Overall is 36.36% off GST inc price.

Shopback cashback has been quite unreliable recently. I made a few purchases 3-4 months ago on these shopback 18-20% cashback at Uniqlo and none of the confirmation was done by the ‘available by’ date.

I have to chased up a few times and now a few tracked cashback randomly go back to ‘calculating’

    Cashreward is more reliable.

    • +1

Sorry your cashback is taking longer than expected @Tevada. 😣 Let’s get this sorted! Shoot me a DM with the details and I’ll look into it for you.

      • Hey @gotyourback, I'm also having issues with one of my cashbacks, it's still showing 'calculating'. Can you help me out too please?

        • Sure! Happy to help. Could you drop me a DM with the details and I'll take a look into it @fuujisanyo

          • +2

            @gotyourback: @gotyourback
I sent 10 email for tracking $30 cashback(and there are some small amounts that I am not bothered to track with these guys. and they never get back to me and here in public the customer service seems good.
Everytime someone promises to take care of my inquiry but THEY NEVER DO!
Horrible customer service and not trustworthy company.
Will apply to fair trading nex week for false advertisement and non existing customer service.

            • @Sezgin999: That's not cool @Sezgin999. We apologize for the delay. Please DM us with your email and we'll get back to you ASAP.

Experience with Shopback has been really bad these days.
Things not tracking, things not getting confirmed after tracking and shocking support.

Makes me think the business model relies on no one following up with their purchases. Take this as a nice bonus but don't rely on it

    • We're sorry to hear about your bad experience. To help us sort this out, shoot us a DM with the details. We’re here to help! @Thranrond

    • This is how they all operate so you should never expect to receive the CB

  • +1

Aside from registering the Westpac card, is there an activation required for the attainment of the 20% via Westpac?

    • +1

No, just link it in your Shopback account and then use the same card when checking out for Uniqlo online purchase

    • +1

Need to add it under your payment methods in ShopBack. Should be part of the prompts when you try and access the Westpac lounge.

  • Where have the skinny fit chinos gone? All the cuts I’m seeing look like clown pants.

    • skinny chinos (and skinny pants in general) have thankfully gone out of fashion

if you think these look like clown pants… I don't know what to tell you. https://www.uniqlo.com/au/en/products/E450251-000?colorCode=…

      • The skinny chinos Uniqlo sold weren't actually skinny if you were a normal weight

Which is increasingly looking to be a minority these days

        • I used to wear the skinny chinos, and my BMI was around underweight/normal

In hindsight: they were too skinny.

      • Old mate is absolutely swimming in those. The old skinny for at Uniqlo were just normal ass chinos that fit like a normal pair of tailored pants.

        • no, it just has some draping. I think people's perception of what looks good has been distorted by the previous slim pants trend

Echoing the other comments here - treat the cashback as a nice bonus but don't base your purchase decision on it.

Bad experience a few months ago where I intentionally didn't use a coupon to be eligible for shopback, Ebay didn't track and claim was rejected (losing out on both the 10% cashback and eBay bonus challenges).

  • Is this not allow uniqlo $5 promotion coupon?

"This Cashback deal is not valid together with: Promos or Vouchers not featured on ShopBack"

  • If I order for click and collect and change for different size does it void cashback?

  • Stocked up on undies and socks. Both standard and Westpc tracked.

    thanks OP

  • Shopback used to be good. but now they are getting worse. If you have Cashback issue now, they seems not wanting to help, so shop around. they are others Cashback site to chose.

  • +1

One piece range is eligible I guess ;)

  • What about a sale item?

  • Only normal has tracked, not Westpac

Bought through Shopback app. It used to be the most reliable for tracking, has that changed?

    • yeah instantly 20% tracked. I did not actually see anything about westpac on the site

    • same here, Westpac only tracked for the first order, second order only tracked the normal one.

      • same here it seems only normal cashback is tracked, and split to two transaction. but nothing with Westpac bonus

  • Is it $20+$20 cap per transaction for westpac customers?

  • Mine did not track at 20%, either that or it split my transaction into individual items…

    • I think they split them, that's what happened to my first order. Only normal has tracked atm though.

      • My order was split into 2 transactions for the normal cashback. Still waiting for the bonus cashback, but in my experience usually takes an extra day or two.

      • All base and bonus tracked correctly. Base cash back tracked for each item, while bonus was lump sum for each order.

  • How long does westpac take to track normal one has tracked only so far

  • Tracking came through in ~40 minutes as individual transactions, waiting for the bonus now.

    • Bonus tracked just 5 mins ago.

      • My bonus tracked just now too, about ~2 hours after regular tracking. Curiously it's a big single transaction, instead of smaller individual ones.

  • +1

    still havent tracked

  • Mine all tracked within 10 ISH min, I did them all via the shopback app on data so there were no blocked trackers.

Unsure if I will still get the bonus cashback if I return an item, would be great to know.

  • Placed an order around 10pm last night and still not tracked.

  • Did not track. Placed order two days ago.

Via clean chrome browser with no extensions and all cookies allowed. Disappointing

  • Order came in but the sizing was a bit bigger than expected. Does the cash back cancel if items are exchanged or part of the order is refunded?

    • +1

      Refunds, cancellations and no-shows

      • Any rejected, cancelled, refunded, exchanged or returned purchases will not be eligible for Cashback.
      • For partial returns or exchanges, we'll pro-rate the Cashback as an adjustment.

This is from the store page, not sure if it can be trusted though. If you're going to do it just be aware of the risks. There's also no info on bonus cashback, it could be pre-rated or you may lose it all.

      • Thanks for the response!
