Another one of the Prepaid sim kits, with decent Data, international calling credit, and 5G, and 28 day expiry to help out those doing tough and need regular sim changing each month or just need a cheap mobile plan.
Ongoing recharges are a higher price than this deal price.
It has a regular 25 GB data and has a bonus of 20 GB until 10/11/24.
May be a decent partner to go along with this lyca deal also on vodafone network, when doing portings.

Being a vodafone $35 sim kit means, it will likely have same offer (aka data and other inclusions as on vodafone website) which at the time of posting deal are:

45GB On your first 6 recharges
Data

First use all other data, then keep using data at slower speeds. And you can roll over up to 200GB unused data each time you recharge on a Prepaid >>Plus plan before expiry.

Save $5 on every Automatic Recharge

Save $5 each month when you opt-in to Automatic Recharge . T&C apply.

International calls and texts

500 mins to Zone 1 and 50 standard international texts.

Unlimited standard national calls and text.

Get 20GB bonus data on your first 6 recharges made within 180 days of activation (activation counts as first recharge). Offer ends 10/11/24. Activate by 10/11/24

  • As a side note, Being a vodafone customer you can also get early access to Travis Scott concert ticket if that matters to you. It comes up as a popup on vodafone website. says this

Sign-up to Vodafone for exclusive access to concert pre-sale tickets.

Vodafone customers only. Register from 29/07 (Sydney show 9am, Brisbane show 11am, Melbourne show 12pm, local times) until 31/07 (Sydney show 10am, Brisbane show 12pm, Melbourne show 2pm, local times), or until sold out. T&C apply.

Although IDK if you would actually get your sim by 29th July on the standard Letter post tho

  • Lyca was terrible for porting in from my experience. Ymmv.

This voda sim is not a bad price though :). Thx

    • 100% agree that porting process with Lyca is not the easiest one of all due to it's requirements like

Inserting Lyca sim, restart phone, then wait for network coverage, then replace sim with number that we need to port over, then finally get OTP on that and put on the website.

But on a sidenote if one can get around that headache, Lyca mobile actually allows port ins after signup too Here (aka that you can do port overs multiple times in the same Lyca plan and sim Just new number change and loose the last number). this is also normally not what any other provider allows IMO at least not by ourselves without contacting some higher level support.

I was able to port mine successfully after a few headaches too (personally I prefer dealing with this slight headache and save on money), IDK it just didnt want to send me OTPs on number before midnight ??

After porting its pretty good tho, 5G speeds for me with 275 Mbps+ download speeds on voda network
