[QLD] 50% off First eScooter/eBike Rental (Max $5 Discount) @ Lime (App Required)

BACKINBRISBANE

Neuron is gone and Lime is back in Brisbane as of today and offering 50% off your first ride (up to $5).

Apparently they had a decent deal on today where they were giving away 500 key lime pie cookies around the city along with QR codes for a free ride to Brooki’s Bakehouse Fortitude Valley location, where another 500 cookies were waiting. Missed all that as the newsletter went to junk and I only saw it in the evening - https://www.broadsheet.com.au/brisbane/city-file/article/lim…

Some info about their latest 4th gen scooter - https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/national/queensland/scooter…

Might not be the greatest deal but if you need to catch one anyway it is better than nothing I guess.

$5? Is this a ride for ants?

$5. Good for if you want to drive next door.

Time to feed the old Brown Snake again, it's the only place these fking things belong, because clogging the sidewalk and pedestrian crossings isn't!

Meanwhile you'd be fine I'm sure with the thousands of cars every day clogging roads, pedestrian crossings and our air. These have zero impact compares to those

Yes, I own three vehicles (including one ICE car exclusively for recreation) and I hate cyclists with a passion. Deal with it. I also hate these shitty scooters being dumped perpendicular to the flow of foot traffic on inner city footpaths.

I've often wondered, what would the charge be if you removed these from the street. I assume youd be in trouble, but when one is left parked in the middle of the footpath it seems like a public service/safety thing to take it and put it in a skip bin.
These things are a disaster mostly imo. Great idea used by too many fuktards.

      • You would be very very very unlikely to suffer any repercussions for simply relocating these to less inconvenient spaces (ie railway embankments - one of my favourites).
