Excellent screwdriver set….
These or Wera?
Wera are probably better quality, but they're also over double the price.
I used this set daily for 2 years. Started using wera ca 6 months ago. I wouldnt say that wera has lasted me better, they are both showing similar level of insulation damage around the shaft
Not sure why you're down voted here. I am a professional with Wiha, wera, bahco etc tools.
This screwdriver set is actually surprisingly very good. My goto wera vde set is still my goto due to the thickness of the shaft.
Look past the aldi brand and get a set, you won't be disappointed.
Gotta love a thick shaft.
length is def not a factor, its all about the girth

Not the set I bought.
From a metallurgical point of view they were soft and from a mechanical point of view they did not mate well with terminal screws. Put the two together and they didn’t last five minutes. Anything from Stanley or any other known brand would outlast my set by a factor of 10+.
Stanley? I haven't seen a decent Stanley set for 20 years. I have a set from the 80's (the one with the massive slot screwdriver for you old timers) that is still like new.
I'm convinced the current batch of rgy ones are made out of some form of cheese.
No these are crap, I snapped a flat head pretty much straight away. Wera's go on special for circa 30 regurarly and are infinately better quality.
Buy a new set & take the old set back with the new receipt.
I shattered the head on one of mine first go. Normally a fan of Aldi tools mind you
I found these shred at the end, they are just not made of hard enough steel. Lasted me a year while doing a house renovation and then I went and got some Vessel screwdrivers and I cant see me replacing these for years to come.
vessel is a different conversation in screw drivers, they make things like JIS screwdrivers when others just offer phillips or pozidrive …. wish i saw more vessel deals on ozbargain.
otherwise have the aldi set no issues, made of CR-V and matt finish so don’t slip.

Slotted screwdrivers are soft IMHO
Nothing worse than a soft driver.
I bought some a couple years ago and yeah mine were soft. I never use them
I got this set years ago and still use them very regularly. An absolute bargain that have not let me down.
Flat head screwdrivers always make excellent pry tools, gasket scrapers and make-shift chisels if you're a dodgy carpenter.
had a look didnt say CR-V on box or the screwdriver , just hardened steel
I bought another set, my third set I think of these great screwdrivers. I always seem to lose them when I move. They come in a great case now also.
