Since this code just expired, was looking for a new one. Found this in the comments of an older deal, credits to @Crownanchor.

Couldn't find information on the expiry, but the T&C should be similar to other deals, so copying and pasting the relevant bits.

I received 3 x 50YUM codes on 2 different occasions last week through doordash emails. The code doesn't work with any provider, it will say something to the effect of "not available at this location" - has anyone come across this or know why the code isn't redeemable?

Even with 50% off (from the previous code) and zero delivery fees this wasn't worth it for me - the restaurants already have their prices marked up a few dollars more than their usual pricihg (or is it doordash marking prices up?) and then an additional "Service fee" is slapped on, so even with the 50% off the delivered price was about $20 more than ordering over the phone or online and driving there myself - which is what I ended up doing LOL.

I disagree. Some restaurant marked up to 35% and service fee is 12%.

Save up to $20 per order. If you are ordering $60 worth of food, of course it wont be worth it.

But if you order < $40, it is still cheaper ordering delivery with 50% off + 0 delivery fee, especially in this cold cold winter.

You are buying this for a convenient factor. I cannot be bothered to go through traffic to pickup my favorite food from a shopping centre nearby where I have to find some time to park, easier to stay at home and get it delivered with same price or even cheaper.

      Thanks OP!

      • Yeah ur right, you gotta spend <$35 if there's a service fee to hit that magic 50% off. Otherwise it aint 50% off lol, it just becomes a $20 discount off of jacked up prices + service fee.

If you want to get the best value for this kind of promo, you gotta do pick up orders LOL. Unless of course you have DashPass sub.

My local Thai sells pad thai for $15.90 while DoorDash has it for $17.90. 50% off would bring it down under $10. Pay with discounted gift card for an additional 10-15% off.

      • yup that works too, avoid service fee and delivery fee by just picking up the order, but still order via doordash

      • Any problems encountered when paying accounts in different names with gift cards?

        • When you apply the gift card it becomes doordash credit in that account and cannot be transferred to another account

          • @hoyanikon: I see thanks!

          • @hoyanikon: So you'd be worried about having ~$0.01-$5 locked up with each account? I could understand the concern, but with offers like this I'd think the savings made in 1 or 2 transactions at 50% off would mitigate any losses
