Save yourself the bother.
Bought one on Wednesday, made soup and it leaked through the bottom, returned and exchanged it for another, same thing happened.
Third time the charm?
Ha ha nah just got a refund.
Takes so long to unpack all the parts and wash them before use I wasn't willing to risk it again.
Pretty disappointed as I made some delicious soup!
i think you need to tighten the bottom part..
unlikely that they are mass producing this with a leaky bottom
@pinkybrain: I'm not silly my friend. The leak was through a seal. Seems the seal couldn't handle the heat of the element during the heat mode

I got last year’s model. While boiling top cap got burned and disfigured. Returned and refunded. But we liked it as blender.
We just bought one !! Unfortunately it didn’t come with a user manual/product information guide. We’ve searched online and the Stirling website with no luck. If anyone has a product link they could please share ?? If not I’ll request one instore when in there next. Thank you
I got one the other day. blender seems fine (powerful and big). lots and lots of accessories.
