final hour of Prime day deals.

not sure if PICKUP10OFF works on this pickup I already used mine on something else. Mod: Offer only applies to products sold by Amazon.com.au

$2 Less than last all time low for another trending product.

seemed to be very popular last deal even though I thought it looked a bit flimsy and plasticky.

        Correction, there's no 'regular'.

Heroclip come in the following sizes:

        • Mini: 4.5 x 5.7 cm, 18kg limit (One I linked)
        • Small: 6 x 7.6 cm, 22kg limit (Your deal in OP)
        • Medium: 7.6 x 9.3 cm, 27kg limit
        • Large: 10.4cm x 13.3 cm, 45kg limit
        • ok just noticed the mini is called mini and the title for the black didn’t have anything written (I just copy pasted most of title from previous deal which is why it has small).

weirdly the title for black now is 90% german I swear it wasn’t before posting.

          • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: Small is the correct size for your deal post. It has 'Maximum load 22kgs' and 'Size: Small' in the Technical Details.

            • @RichardL: sorry tried last minute edit for comment above *the Amazon title for the black didn’t have anything…

  • Why not get an S-Biner instead?

      S-Biner

is this a joke? I don’t know what that is. 😂

        • thanks for the link.

          • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: You can get them on Amazon too

            • @meong: They also sell them at Bunnings, so you can potentially price-beat.

              • @RichardL: yeah actually googled “niteize S-biner” after and bunnings came up first.

                • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: Heroclip is good for hanging handbags on cafe tables / hanging bags over toilet doors, etc etc. Might also be useful on camps to hand stuff from branches.

S-Biner not so good at that

                  • -1

@dangerdanger: yeah I agree I can see just by design, I don’t think you can hook S-biner onto anything awkward shaped.

                    • -2

@n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: But S-biner is better to hang onto your bags as the upper hook will be closed as well…

                      • -1

@meong: I also had my doubts about the product in the last post. but a lot of users schooled me on how handy it was.

apparently it's for hanging your bag on the Heroclip, then hanging the heroclip in places where you would usually think you wouldn't like the edge of a table or as someone said over the wall of a toilet cubicle. I was thinking more it would be used for camping but most people seems to not use it for that and for "city life" instead.

I still think it's expensive and looks a bit flimsy though. if you zoom in on amazon pictures it seems like large parts are made from plastic so if you went over the weight limit (I dunno like accidentally your friend hangs a 2nd large bag on it because they think it will be fine) and it looks like it might fall or come apart.

                        • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: Yes, but for edges, the hero clip will be easier.

But as shown in the picture of the hero clip where the person was using to hang item to her bag, an S-biner is still more secure as the item is swaying left or right.

It's not the same anymore after being acquired and brand into Gear Aid.

  • These are great, although the price is frankly insane for what they are.

    Consider a clone off Aliexpress.

    • Rubber end on the clones?

      • The one I have has a small piece of hard rubber on the hook to help it grip, yes.

        • honestly these trending items get cloned and sold super quick. and because trending items are extremely overpriced for the cost to make them to begin with, often the clone is a bargain price with not much worse quality.

but to me the original heroclip does look a bit flimsy. I wasn't expecting something that holds decent weight (22kg is quite alot) to be party made of plastic. I thought it would be all metal.
