Worth noting its 15.99 for a twin pack at costco. Saw that earlier in the week.

    • I got the twin pack at Costco for under $10 a couple of months ago. $15.99 is still a great deal.

Usually get the $22 for 2L at Woolies and refill the bottles and works out to be $8.25 per 750ml

  • Hard surface use only? The one with the Queens logo on it i use a tiny amount in the washing machine for clothes, this one doesn't have the royal logo and we aren't supposed to do that now?

I’ve been using this stuff in my laundry for years and never had an issue 🤷🏻‍♀️

They must of changed the formula with harsher (cheaper) chemicals

  • works well on those Qld toads, water it down to 50% in a spray bottle.

    • Do they get clean?

      • well it cleans them up…

funnily enough the rspcEH have spent a fair bit of if time & effort removing the dettol stuff from Google & websites, but approved a product using the same ingredient.

I did dome tests myself, caught & sprayed, they're immobile within 5-10mins & appear dead within 30-60mins. I'm not vet so I have no idea when they're dead. I don't really have the space or the inclination to catch & freeze 15-30 toads per night, bit I'm fairly confident that my 50:50 mix sprayed from a distance works fairly effectively.

but as I as I'm not a vet, so i might be wrong.

        • Does anything eat these toads?

          • @Headless: yes, crowd & now the local ibis

            • @M00Cow: I hear the legs can be tasty

              • @Headless: apparently they're a little funny tasting and need to be washed properly like a mud crab.

it's the delicate balance between clean, but still lickable

                • @M00Cow: Could be a hidden market here, might be worth billions to the french
