  • Great price. I do however find these travel mugs that have rubber seals are a pain to clean. If price isn't much of a concern, the Kinto tumbler ones are better especially when on sale. All the parts are detachable and dishwasher safe.

Add add 15ml Milton Anti-Bacterial Solution into 2L water, Put the lid into water for 15 minutes and it looks like brand new.
Milton can be used for home hygiene to disinfect toys, kitchen surfaces (chopping boards, fridges work tops), sponges, toothbrushes, brewing equipment and destaining cups. Wipe pre-cleaned items or surfaces with made up solution and leave for 15 minutes.

    • It has a latch that unlocks the rubber seal, then put it upside down in the dishwasher and tada. Have one for over 5 years and it the best one out there

      • Good to know. The one I suggested doesn't need a rubber seal, so one less thing to remove to clean and worry about. And the best thing is you can sip it from any direction, not just through the drinking side as long as you have two hands free. Check it out, they are quite popular on OzB

I have a whole cupboard full of different tumbler mugs, and always gravitate back to the Kinto.

I prefer the ones that auto-close, so they don't spill if you bump them over. The Contigo Transit is the best I have found and would be the perfect mug if the rubber grip sleeve didn't expand over time and come loose (I just throw it away and use the mug without). It is double-wall, auto-closing, lockable, has a seal latch for cleaning, and a rubber foot so it doesn't get dented or make a lot of noise when you put it on a desk. I don't know why they aren't more popular.
The Byron looks decent, but if the base is like the west loop, it may be easy to dent and mess up the vacuum seal.
